The room was a good size, bathroom was nice, all very clean.
Staff would not facilitate a late check out, we only needed to stay until 1pm. Parking was a bit of a mess, had to move the car on check out, even though we only parked at 11.30 the previous night.

Had an extremely outdated room, with a bed that hadn't been updated in about 20 years with a pillow that was less comfortable then a piece of paper. No tv (had one but had to pay and only for movies) wifi was ridiculously expensive and didn't even reach my room :\ not a short walk to centre either. I do not recommend this hotel unless you want a bad all you can eat breaky

Stayed at the hotel on 20 November for one night only as it was close to Bord Gais Theatre. We received a warm welcome at the front desk. Rooms are clean, tidy and bed was extremely comfortable. We had a light snack before the theatre in the bar it was delicious. We ate breakfast at hotel also. This is self service which I like as you can have as little or as much as you like. The hotel is very central and we definitely have no problem staying here again.

This hotel is centrally located and the price is right but that is the only reason to stay here. We had a street facing room on a holiday night and would advise against that. We got a mini concert from the street. 10 min walk to Trinity and Temple Bar.

Room Tip: Interior room for weekend nights a must.

we stayed in The Pearse Hotel on Saturday 9th November 2013. It is a great location to The Bord Gais Energy Theatre. You come out of the hotel, turn left, left again at the traffic lights and the theatre is just across the road. The hotel rooms and bathrooms are basic enough but very clean and spacious and warm. The beds are big and very comfortable. we stayed on the third floor at the front of the hotel. The staff are very pleasant and helpful. The bar food is nice and homely, the steak sandwich was very good. I would recommend this hotel for a night only theatre break or a s a base for sight seeing. Not for luxury but this is reflected in the price.

The rooms are basic but okay, I stayed on the second floor and my parents on the third floor, after already asking to be near each other upon arrival they said no after emailing a good 3 weeks in advance. Also upon arrival after paying double the price for the same style of room and everything than my parents that breakfast was included..

Breakfast was standard, hard fried eggs and watery tasteless scrambled egg.

Service was okay..
Would not recommend the hotel

We stayed in the Pearse hotel for a concert in the o2 last weekend.
The service at the front desk, was very efficient, with a gentleman checking us in to the hotel.
The room was very spacious with a view out on to the main pearse Road. Having looked at some previous reviews on tripadvisor, I was weary as to the condition of the room.
We found that the room was extremely clean as was the bathroom. The hotel room would not be as modern as some other hotels in Dublin but I could not fault the room.
We ate in the bar, which was very clean and modern. My only complaint about the hotel was the waitress in the bar that evening. She took our order and served us our starter and main course and proceeded to completely ignore us and was more interested in standing at the side of the bar, drinking tea herself. Having waited over half an hour for our main dishes to be cleared and be given a dessert menu and get another drink, we decided enough was enough and went up and paid for our dinner with a guy behind the bar. The meal itself was lovely but would have liked to have all three course. Service was a real let down to the hotel.
The breakfast in the morning was self service and had everything you could think of and was very well presented.
On the whole, we found the hotel to be a excellent, if staying for one night going to a concert.
