I could not fault this hotel, other than to agree that yes, it is a little tired looking in places however what it lacks in decor is more than made up for in cleanliness and friendliness of staff.
We travelled with two other couples for one night B&B, all three rooms were available to us at 1.30pm which suited as we were going to a matinee at the Canal Theatre, a five minute walk around the corner. Great comfy beds and everything required in the room including tea and coffee facilities. We did not experience the crisis in customer service in fact it was quite the opposite, we ordered a taxi to take six into Dublin for dinner reservations and nothing was too much trouble for the receptionist who dealt with us. Breakfast was great, self service and plentiful. This was not an expensive hotel and all in all worth every penny we will definately use it again!More
