This hotel is fine, NO FRILLS. the location is excellent. Staff were nice. its super noisy, nightclub and bar going all hours of the night. so dont come here with kids. Suits a hen party or a stag party if you are doing something and are prepared to slum it.

Room Tip: use this hotel if you dont care so long as its clean and a good location, somewhere to put the head down.

Stayed for one night on 3rd floor, room 310, newer again! Good location, but not worth it! old, smelly rooms, dirty carpets, dirty curtains staff not friendly, i think they all were romanians. Very noisy, because there is night club in the building, wich is open late! didn't like breakfast, full irish breakfast without beens, mushrooms, and hashbrowns, very poor, and it has to be paid before in the reception - 7 euro! We do not recoment this hotel!

After a nightmare at the jury's inn, I found this hotel who could accommodate the rest of my stay. The morning staff were pleasant and the breakfast was plentiful. The was a pleasant change from the chap service at the jury's inn.

Went here on a saturday night. We thought we would start our night here have a few drinks then move on! That didn't happen! We arrived at about 9pm and Live Music started at 10pm til Midnight which was fab. Played lots of classics the bar got really busy and had a good atmosphere! Once they finished they put some up to date dancey music on. Ended up staying here til it closed at 3am! Had a really godo night. Although being in the temple bar area of the city means there is a couple of euro's added onto the prices compared to other parts of town. I was paying around €6.30 for a pint of Peroni, €6.10 for a pint of Bud. A Vodka & Orange was about €9.65 with cocktail before a 11pm were €8 after that went up in price to about €10. So not a cheap night out by any means but the live music an atmosphere made it worthwhile.
Definitely worth a visit if you at this end of town.

This place is a dump, we unfortunately stayed here for a week in August. They gave us a room directly above the bar downstairs and underneath that bar was a nightclub that went until the wee hours of the morning. I should have know we were screwed from the get go when the lady hesitated to assign us to our room open check in, promptly saying that it might be "a bit noisy". We never feel asleep before 4 am the entire week despite wearing noise cancelling headphones to try to block it all out. We changed rooms after the first night but just moved up one floor directly above and the noise was no better. We tried to change again to a more interior room but was told that they were all booked up. To say we got no sleep the week we were here is an understatement. The Eastern European woman at the desk was condescending and told us,"Your in Temple Bar what did you expect?" and laughed at us when we told her our room as about 20 degrees warmer than the temperature outside. Damned if you open the window to attempt to cool it off and have your ears blown by all the noise and damned if you keep the window close to preserve your sanity but just expect to roast to death. I have stayed in heart of New Orleans during Mardi Gras, Rio during Carnival and in the middle of Times Square on several occasions and have never experienced the noise level this place has to offer. Even the nights we got pass out drunk your still woken by people screaming and the terrible music coming from underneath you. They should close the the hotel part down all together and just keep the building a nightclub because a hotel is somewhere you go to rest and sleep and you will get none of that here.

Room Tip: Don't stay here at all.
