Bedroom and bathroom good size and well appointed. Unable to sleep at night due to noise from adjoining bedroom, this noise wasn't excessive but the walls are paper thin and no sleep with disco on second night. Hotel is in a good location with a convenient bus service outside.

Also think the rate for car parking a bit pricey for a hotel - 8 euros per day

Booked a room for my parents for a birthday. They had a fantastic time, they rang me after they checked in and explained how nice the staff were and how nice the room was. They had stayed in this hotel previous and had an okay experience, but they said they were blown away by the hospitality and room standard this time around. They said that the receptionists were ever so helpful and welcoming upon check in and the Duty Manager Graham was very kind in dealing with questions they had and very bubbly towards them as well as all other hotel users upon their stay.

I asked them was there anything small that they where not happy with and they couldn't find anything. I asked them about dinner and breakfast and they both said it was beautiful. My Dad even said that he had the nicest pint of Bud ever. They said the food (Thai Curry was beautiful and the prawns were delicious) and the (Turkey and Ham was just as impressive).

They did however state that there were two parts to the hotel an old and a new. This time they got to avail of the new part while the last time they stated in the old part. They highly recommend the new part of the hotel, but if you just want basic stay then the old part if fine. They didn't have to leave the hotel to find a local pub/bar as they were very happy with the service and hospitality within the hotel.

They also mentioned the leisure centre available within the hotel and said it was unreal and beautiful, clear clean water and equipment looked new and up to date. (they are not really leisure users so for them to even think of going to the leisure centre I was impressed and the fact they enjoyed it was a surprise).

They were treated and looked after with 5 Star hospitality.

Room Tip: Rooms in the new part of the hotels are more modern, the old part is nice if you have a budget and j...

Was offered a complimentary family stay after a very poor stay previous, though this stay was no better!! On arrival room was very cold and after having to ask heating to be turned on in room several times I was told a portable heater would be brought to room as heating was broken. No heater was brought and my family had to endure a very cold November night. On the second night fire alarms continuously went off even though staff didn't evacuate rooms and had no idea if there even was a fire!!! Staff on reception were extremely rude and had absolutely no idea how to run a fire evacuation. I did voice my complaint to management and to date am still waiting for a reply.

On the up side we had a great day at Tayto Park which was part of the package.

Room Tip: Try and upgrade to an executive room as these are much bigger.

Given a room above the kitchen, didnt smell nice, had single glazed windows with draft blowing through, heating didnt work, tv didnt work, bedding didnt look clean
food was ok from the restaurent, somethings looked like they had been out for a long time.
ireland played france in the 6 nations so i think this was the cheapest hotel around dublin at the time. didnt see the spa as we you need to pay extra to go in and i presumed we would get free access. close to the airport and 10 mins taxi from city centre

Room Tip: Have a good look around at other hotels before comitting to this one

Spent 2 days here for a work. Day one we were so cold in the conference room we left our coats on. Day 2 after all the complaints on day one, the heat was suffocating. Bedroom also cold, had to get into shower to thaw out. Dinner, ate in the hotel as we'd had a long day. Had pork, never had to chew a mouthful of meat so long in my life. Bar expensive, Restaurant also cold, my friend insisted on moving 3 times to find a warm spot. Strange aroma of damp dog and old soup. The highlight for me was closing my eyes at 10.30 to go to sleep as it had been a long day and having really loud music start out of nowhere. I eventually figured there had to be some kind of function going on directly under my room as it was too loud to be someone's tv on full blast. Reception denied that there was any entertainment on that night but said they'd check it out. Rang back 15 minutes later, music still going, to say that they were doing a sound check for a function the next day!!

Room Tip: Try somewhere else

Stayed Nov 2013 for one night. Very basic. Hardly slept a wink because of snoring in next room. Prices expensive in bar. Over 7 euro for 3/4 glass of very average quality wine. No atmosphere in bar. Breakfast reasonable at best.

Room Tip: Bring earplugs as walls seem paper thin.
