Great place to stay if on business in Dublin . Very comfortable rooms and a great choice for breakfast, all at a good price? Free newspapers every morning, very comfortable bed. Very clean and tastefully decorated

Room Tip: Room at the back for a quite nights sleep

There are many positives to staying at Waterlo house:

The location is great, a beautiful street, offering peace and quiet but close enough to the central areas to be able to walk or take a short, inexpensive taxi. There are also a number of bars, supermarkets and coffee shops within a minutes walk.

Staff are very welcoming, helpful and flexible.

The price represents good value for money in comparison to the majority of Dublin hotels.

Breakfast was a perfect way to start the day.

Only minor points which are not really negatives, but the matress was not to my taste (personal preference and I still had three perfect nights sleep). The room, although perfectly clean could do with a fresh coat of paint.

The hotel doesnt have all of the facilities of a big hotel, for example bar, restaurant, gym etc but will I stay here on my return to Dublin? Absolutely yes.

Room Tip: Had a front road facing room.........still very quiet.

Just back from stay in this hotel.Staff extremely helpful. Located in Georgian area, some 20 minutes walk to Grafton Street and City centre, which is an ideal location to stay, being quieter than central areas. Good value for money. Breakfast was excellent, and staff attentive. Also free use of hotel computer for guests.Georgian area is delightful so well worth considering if visiting Dublin.

We found the Waterloo House via Tripadvisor. We needed 5 rooms for our visit to Dublin for the Notre Dame-Navy football game. We could not have made a better choice! The location was perfect--walking distance to Aviva Stadium as well as to most of the Dublin attractions. Plus, the Waterloo House is very attractive and in a great neighborhood. Evelyn and her team are very friendly and the breakfast was fantistic.

We had a great stay here. The location is perfect if you are going to an event at Aviva--an easy 5-10 minute walk. It's about 20min walking to Temple Bar/Dublin's center, but we were happy to trade proximity to the central part of the city for a really nice B&B in a peaceful neighborhood. The room was a good size and the bathroom was really spacious and clean. We asked for a higher floor, which was quiet and a good choice, but keep in mind the wifi connection gets pretty weak as you stay towards the top. There was a comfortable living area to relax in, read the free newspapers, and an internet station for guests to use. The best part was the breakfast! Every morning, in addition to a generous cereal/fresh fruit spread, you could order a hot meal off the menu. Everything was delicious--the homemade waffles were perfection (the best I've ever eaten). The staff was very friendly as well.
