Great location for the RDS
Owner couldnt be more helpfull.
It was a pleasure to stay there.
Difficult to find as the house numbers do not go in sequence on Merrion road , 64 was not after 63 or before 65 but about 300 yards further down the road. It is between the RDS and Bewelys Hotel but on the oppisite side of the road.
Lovely sitting area in the garden

This was my second stay at Glenogra ... this time w/family. One reasod for my return was the very professional yet friendly attirude of the owners. Very accomodating ... and on this occasion, our van was too difficult for us right-side of the road drivers to manage so one of the owners quickly stepped-up to help. Always apprecaited. Great staff in the dining room too ... great b'fast spread as well. Easy walking, cab or train to the city center is ideal ... and the section ( Ballsbridge) is very nice.

I stayed here as it is close to the US Embassy. In terms of location, it is excellent, being close also to the RDS. In terms of local prices at the time, I considered it to be quite competitive. Don't expect to be wowed for the money.
The room was comfortable enough, but quite dated in terms of décor and outfit in my opinion. The TV seemed to have a mind of its own.
I didn't find the staff to be particularly welcoming or helpful upon my arrival, however those I dealt with the next day were warm, chatty and helpful.
One major plus is the secure, off-street parking provided at the back.
I think that this guest house could be a real little gem with some small improvements. I would consider staying here again.

Very good location, just a short bus ride to O'Connell St. This B&B is located on a busy road, but road noise was not heard in our room, and the area is pleasant and quiet. Very comfortable room, efficient if not overtly friendly service from the manager, but helpfull.
Breakfast was a little lower in standard than we experienced in 20 B&B's stayed in on this trip. Not inedible, just a little no-frills.

This is exactly what a B&B needs to be. A functional guesthouse without frills or extravagance, but with a decent welcome, pretty good food and at a reasonable rate. It's a wee bit out of town, but it's right on the bus route into Dublin and the Dart is a short walk around the corner. The owner was helpful in providing local info and even offered us his umbrella when it was raining.

The rooms were clean, spacious and quite traditional in decor. The bathroom furniture was probably due for renewal, but again, was functional and clean. I'd recommend asking for a 1st floor room for anyone infirm or elderly as we stayed on the top floor, which required negotiating a lot of narrow and steep staircases. However, on our way in the owner was kind enough to help with our luggage.

I'd certainly go back again if I needed to stay in the area.

We spent two nights there and this was one of the bnbs that I enjoyed staying at. It's clean and spacious which is really important. The owner, Dennis was very helpful during our stay.
Although Glenogra is not located near the central downtown tourist area, it is convenient to travel around by bus or the Dart. The stn is just round the corner from the B&B.
It gets better they have free internet service ! Great stock of amenities and a flat screen TV in the room not typical of a B&B.
The only down side is that the pricing can be more competitive lowered, a wee bit high for a B&B.

What a pleasant place to begin and end the days of sightseeing in busy Dublin! The rooms are cheerful, clean, bright and comfortable; the full Irish breakfasts are excellent; the owner, his son, and the staff are gracious and available, yet unobtrusive. Walking distance to the lightrail, with two excellent hotel restaurants right across the way. We could not have made a better choice!
