Location great. Room good. Breakfast sh1t. All the yogurt one requires as long as it's strawberry, not to mention the confusion between tea & coffee and the15 minute wait for toast. Some of the waiting staff were very inexperienced and rough. One waitress "threw" a newspaper across the dining room onto a windowsill? John Cleese comes to mind.

We are very sorry to hear that a member of staff 'threw' a newspaper whilst you were having your breakfast. Thank you for your feedback regarding out breakfast. We have taken your point on board regarding yogurt and will make sure that there is more of a variety going forward. We are disappointed that you experienced such a wait in respect of toast and will investigate this further and also apologise for any confusion regarding tea and coffee. We really appreciate your feedback and will strive to implement changes to correct the problems you have highlighted. We are delighted that you were pleased with both our location and our rooms.

Very nice B&B at a great value price for such a central location. The staff are friendly and professional and there's plenty of place to wait in Reception and the guest lounge. The breakfast was tasty, hot and arrived quickly. The standard Irish breakfast is quite small and I don't have a particularly big appetite, so if that's all you're having I'd suggest asking for a few extras. That being said, there are lots of cereals, fruits and yoghurts available.

My only criticisms would be that certain areas are very dated (our room for one, whereas others area quite new and that the TVs are analogue not digital, so channel choice is very limited. The fittings in the bathroom also weren't very clean or well-attached.

The hotel is ideally located, at the top of St Stephens Green, to experience the delights of Dublin.
The staff at reception were genuinely helpful and made my wife and I feel welcome. Our room on the ground floor was spacious and clean and the bed comfortable. It is a bit of a maze to get around the hotel, but I had worked out the layout by the second day. The quality of the food at breakfast was very good but as a number of guests decided to have breakfast at the same time we had to wait a little while before we were allocated a table. We were very pleased with this hotel and will stay there again when we go to Dublin.

We couldn't have asked for better! Arrived at the hotel early after a flight from the US. The staff let us hold our luggage at the hotel and then upon check in later, they had delivered our luggage to our rooms. Nice to not have to lug it all up the stairs ourselves. :) The staff was so friendly and helpful with everything. Very, very conveniently located to Grafton Street, St. Stephen's Green and many of the attractions. We loved it!! Big rooms with plenty of space to relax and spread out a bit.

While in town for business (8 days), the hotel was an extremely conveniently located hotel. The room was comfortable - the wireless internet worked well - the front staff and wait staff in the restaurant were friendly.

The room was clean, and well maintained. It was part of the experience to be in an older converted Georgian home. The hotel is in close proximity to the Green, the national gallery, the national concert hall, Trinity College, the national library, Grafton street, etc.

The only complaint is that the breakfast service started at 8am - it would have been good to start earlier, although the staff did offer to have a continental breakfast ready earlier in the morning.

I would definitely stay here again. The price was very reasonable.

Room Tip: Room 105 faced away from the street and had nice large windows and plenty of light.

This hotel is located in a really great area of Dublin, right next to St Stephen's Green. The shopping area is really close at Grafton Street and also some cool hotels and restaurants for Christmas drinks and food. The hotel was very reasonably priced, with a large room including a sitting area and a glass door out to the garden which would be lovely in warmer weather! Bathroom had a good shower and bath with plenty of hot water. Heating worked fine...important on such a cold weekend! The staff were very helpful especially on reception. The only problem was the breakfast which was a letdown and not what you would expect from Dublin where great breakfasts are part of the Irish experience. Others in our group felt similarly. The highlight was the fantastic, free wi fi in the room!

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms with garden door would be great in summer!
