We had stayed here two years ago and were very pleased so decided to stay again on our latest trip to Ireland. While still my hotel of choice because of its proximity to the airport standards have slipped. At breakfast there was an opened mini jar of jelly which had not been replaced and there was an opened bottle of water in the mini bar which had not been replaced. I declined the first room offered because I prefer a walk-in shower. We were offered a suitable room without difficulty. However I notced that in both rooms the carpeting needed to be replaced being worn and shabby. On the bright side they serve an excellent lunch and we enjoyed an excellent dinner. Staff are efficient and friendly as is usual in Ireland.
