Was very handy to get to and lots to do and see within walking distance.Reception staff were polite,Was a very long walk to our room which included 2 lifts.Did not feel like we were in hotel, more like in basement of it .Were not show to our rooms so took us ages to find it .Room was small and clean apart from dirty net curtain on window,Bathroom was clean but no bath towels or soap. The TV channels were basic.Had evening meal which was lovely but the guy who served us was quite unpleasant and made us feel like he was doing us a good turn by serving us.Breakfast next morning was great but toaster very slow.Overall this hotel lacked a atmsophere.

Room Tip: would choose a room closer to the reception as our room felt like it was not part of hotel

Just back from a 2 night stay here. Our room was large and spacious with a double bed (and 2 single beds although these weren't needed) and the bathroom included a bath, shower and WC.
Everything was basic not luxurious, but it was clean and comfortable and the shower was amazingly powerful which i loved.
The staff were friendly and courteous. My only gripe was that on the 2nd day when we arrived back after a hectic day sightseeing we were disappointed to find our room had not been serviced... so no clean towels, no bed made, no clean cups, no milk tea or coffee and when i went to complain i was told it was MY fault because i must have pressed the switch which illuminates the 'do not service my room' light.
No-one had actually explained this system to us so on arrival so we didn't know that we should have checked to see if the light was on or off :-(
We were given clean towels etc but it took away some of our enjoyment and we feel the management could explain about these sort of things on arrival to stop this happening to others.
Apart from that we had an enjoyable stay, the beds are very comfy which is so important.
We checked out at 12 noon and we were allowed to leave our luggage there before returning home that evening.

Had a three night stay here in May. Hotel clean. Staff friendly. Breakfast buffet very good but toasters were very inefficient. Brilliant location so easy to walk to many of the main attractions. Public transport also very accessible. Gate Theatre immediately opposite.

Our 4th stay in this wonderful hotel. We have stayed in hotels all over but cannot beat this for the friendly staff and the quality of service. Starting at reception-efficient friendly and helpful. Rooms clean and well appointed. Breakfast buffet is always very good and serving staff are yet again friendly and willing to have a chat. Add to this the location which is about 10 minutes from Temple Bar but far enough away to guarantee a peaceful sleep. We will be back in October knowing that we shall not be disappointed. Thanks to Martin and all the staff.

We stayed here for a 4 night break and couldn't fault it. We arrived early and went to the hotel just to leave our bags there whilst we headed out to explore the city. However we were booked in and allowed into our room straight away. The room was a very good size, comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was included in our deal and kept us going all day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is an ideal hotel for exploring this beautiful city and we would recommend it to anyone.
