Perfect location and hotel for all those people on stag/hen nights or fighting families with screaming, uncontrollable kids etc. Anyone else...steer clear! Attracts and tolerates the lowest, roudiest behaviour making it an impossibility to get any rest once it's dark. If you are unlucky enough to end up here, ask for a room as high up as possible..they "save" their worst, lower floor rooms for people booking on line, apparently..just lovely. Avoid! Pay a bit extra and stay somewhere else.
The one star I gave is for the poor night manager and the staff who do their upmost to control the often very drunken/drugged clientel they unfortunately have the displeasure of meeting most nights, to no avail. They deserve to be paid danger money to work there.

Room Tip: It truly won't make a difference re noise levels if you are in the front on the street (after 3a...

Could not sleep either night of my two night stay because of noise and to make it worse the cleaners walked into our room at 9 am to start cleaning. Room were awful but staff seemed ok. This place would have been fine for a boys night out in Dublin but not for anything else.

Two of my three requirements when searching For a hotel when working are that it must have a car park and wifi. This hotel does have an arrangement with a multi story car park, 10 MINUTES WALK AWAY. This is madness if you have a lot of heavy bags you don't want to leave in the car overnight. I was offered four different rooms none of which had any wifi service. The first room laughingly called the Eilza Doolittle Suite is the most sole less room I've ever seen. With a double and three single beds wedged into the room it is nothing but a dormitory. Germano on reception is very helpful and eventually found me a comfortable room.

Stayed here twice now when visiting Dublin. It's well located for Dublin city center and it's very well priced. Staff are great, always happy to help. The bar is good and the food is also great. Only issue previously was the sound of trams in the street from quite early on so get a room at the back of the hotel if you can. Other than that, the place is great!

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the rear of the hotel, they are quieter!

I was shocked by the noise levels. I was trying to sleep but between the music (the thump thump sounds) and the screaming I didn't get much sleep at all. I just can't understand why the hotel thinks it's acceptable to have a nightclub that is so loud and do not give a damn about their other patrons. Will never ever stay there again or recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I just spent a lovely relaxing weekend in the Harcourt Hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. When booking I mentioned we were there to relax so they gave us a room which was two doors up and away from their nightclubs. The breakfast was very good value when we booked it in at the cheaper price the night before. The first night, as we had already eaten earlier in the day, we didn't plan on having anything filling. We both ordered their warm chicken salad which was fabulous and tasty. The following night we dined next door in an Italian restaurant which was really good. The walk to Grafton Street was only 5minutes or so which was really brilliant with no need to drive. Many thanks to all on the reception desk and especially Vitor in the bar. Keep up the good work. We will be back!

Room Tip: Ask for a room away from nightclubs if you are a light sleeper.

Me and 7 friends stayed here last month - It's the 3rd time I have stayed there and really can't fault it for service and affordability. The staff are friendly and helpful and it really is all you need for a weekend away. Great location and rooms are fine. I would go again!

Room Tip: Harcourt Sreet can be noisy as there is a club downstairs. If this concerns you ask for a room elsew...
