“Good location”

Great location, in the heart of Temple Bar. Not far to Grafton, Ha'Penny, and St. Stephen's. Odd we had 2 twin beds and a double bed for the 2 of us. Beds aren't the best, but we were not in the room much. The front desk ladies were awesome, and helped us out a bit.

Hotel was convenient and the staff was excellent Just needs a little sprucing up.. Paint peeling in bathroom, carpets needs updating. None of those really affected our stay though. Really enjoyed the Legends show at dinner and the waitresses were great fun

The hotel is just on the edge of the Temple Bar area, but Dublin is small so lots is walking distance from the hotel. There is a hop on hop off bus stop opposite the hotel which is really handy.
The hotel is a little faded and could probably do with modernisation but why worry about decor in Dublin. It's the city you're there to visit! And the hotel is excellently located.
Our room was in the attic and it was small, and a little old fashioned, however it was very clean, very comfortable, cosy and quiet.
The staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was generous and good :-)
We've booked to go again :-)

Room Tip: Our attic room was cute and cosy

A good location in the Temple Bar area.. We had booked tickets for the Hop-on Hop-off bus and they had a stop right across the street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was comfortable and clean but they need a little care. Some paint peeling off the ceiling in the bathroom. The bar and restaurant was very good. They have a dinner show every night with a very good Irish band and a excellent group of Irish dancers. The food and show was well worth the price. Would recommend staying here.

Room Tip: We had a room on the street side and it was very quiet all night. No a/c but didn't need it.

We didn't stay at the hotel, but went along to the bar one evening for entertainment. The band were very good - as were the Irish dancers who performed during the intermission. The service, range of drinks and value for money were also good. However, the best part was the "portrait" hanging to the right hand side of the stage - keep a close eye on it ;)

Great value hotel in a great location just on the edge of Temple Bar. Our room was on the side, so as long as the windows were closed you couldn't hear much noise. The room was very warm though with no aircon. Reception and porter staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfast was ok (far too much scrambled egg though!), coffee wasn't great. Room was fine for the money (a few cracks in the tiles and sink etc) but nothing to worry about as it was very clean and tidy. Evening entertainment was great, proper Irish music and dancing, and free!

Arlington Hotel Temple Bar on Lord Edward St. In Dublin is a good choice for a visit to the city.
Centrally located close to all major attractions, bus lines, restaurants and the train station.
The manager, Gerry, was very helpful, friendly and kind.
The staff, however, are superb! They helped book on-line discount train tickets, assisted with our every need while smiling and always being cheerful.
I can, t think of a hotel where all the staff went above and beyond every day for every request.
Reasonably priced, this hotel is good value for visitors to Dublin. Our week long stay here made our trip to Dublin a hit.

Room Tip: Ask for a room the top floor.
