Stayed in Room 416 on 20th November & this hotel is the best I've stayed in in Dublin so far. Very reasonable price for a central hotel. Temple Bar, Grafton Street & O'Connell street all within walking distance.
The room was spotless & the bed was HUGE and really comfortable.
Staff were really helpful when I rang reception on a couple of occasions, and I'd love to thank the porter who managed to find me a decent hairdryer to use when the one in my room was being a bit temperamental!
There are only a couple of negative points to comment on. The first was that the water pressure in the shower wasn't the best. It'd be great one minute, then ease off, then be great again.
The cleaning staff were also really noisy, chatting & gossiping in the corridors from quite early on which was a shame. I also found the reception staff quite unfriendly & abrupt at times...saying that, they were quick & efficient at checking me in and out so I can't complain that much.
I had a late flight home but was able to leave my suitcase at the hotel all afternoon in a secure room. That was a massive help! Thanks :-)More
