“More than our money's worth”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 16, 2013

My partner and I took two separate tours--one to Galway and the other to Wicklow. In both cases, we got off in each city and spent a few days exploring before returning on another bus. John in the main office was extremely helpful and accommodating so we could tailor the tours to match up with our crazy ideas. Both rob and carina are Irish history and culture experts, and provided informative and interesting tours. If I had more time, I'd take another tour!

More than your money's worth! Do you think we should put up our prices then ? It really is nice when our clients take the effort to praise our business. Thank you John

“Wicklow, Cliffs of Moher”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 14, 2013 via mobile

We were lucky enough to be able to do 2 day trips. The Wicklow experience was ok but our driver was going too fast and I got dizzy and our guide (a woman whose name I forget) was ok but not great. However the Cliffs with Jim our guide was excellent! He had such enthousiasm that was contageous and great knowledge and love for his country. If you ever go look for him. Best time ever! And the sights of course were breathtaking!

Thank you for the review. Delighted with your comments about the day to the Cliffs of Moher and of course Jim, our top Guide ( that's what we tell him). He is very popular with our clients and for good reason. He's passionate about life. As to the Kilkenny tour. Your comments have been discussed at our weekly team gathering and your concerns have been outlined to everyone. See you again I hope.. John

“Belfast and Giant's Causeway tour”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 9, 2013

My father and my sister did this tour and we loved it. The tour guide Jim was great, he showed us some very interesting documentaries on Belfast and the Troubles before we got there. The Black Taxi tours were brilliant too. The guides also very good. The talk fast.

I would recommend this company to everyone. Having a tour guide made the day for us as we knew nothing in the beginning.

The tour to the Giants Causeway incorporating a two hour visit to Belfast is becoming one of our most popular day tours. Apart from being the only day tour from Dublin to the Giants Causeway that has a tour guide and a driver, it is the only day tour that offers a flexible choice of attractions during the 2 hour visit to Belfast. You can visit the Titanic Museum or take the world famous Black Taxi political tour where a local guide will tour with you, the places in Belfast that have been the seen of much tragedy during the "troubles". A local guide for every four passengers, that's unique and personal. The murals are world famous and the peace dividing wall has been visited and signed by many very famous people. You can do that too. We very much appreciate your review. We are proud to be able to offer visitors to Ireland the very best experiences when visiting this little island. Thank you. John

“Wicklow, Glendalough & Kilkenny”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 7, 2013

We booked a trip with Wild Rover tours on bachelors walk.
The staff were knowledgable, explained the trip in detail. It cost €30 adult but we had 2x children with us so they charged €15 each and 2x seniors at €27. They also gave us reserved seating in the front of the coach - brilliant!

Only 9 went to the caves and it was nice but caves are caves, however the story behind the caves was fascinating. Most people went into Kilkenny.
Our tour guide Carina and driver Gerry were excellent. Both full of Irish charm and knowledge. You felt you were having your own personal trip ( there was 40 on the bus)
The tour was a full day from 8am - 18:30 and worth every penny.
If we had more time I would have booked with them to Galway too.

“Tours around Ireland”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 27, 2013

I went to Dublin with my boyfriend in april, and we had the most wonderful time!! We found a little Turism Post Office in the heart of Dublin (Temple Bar), and within a few moments we had bought ourselves a guided tour troughout this beautiful country.

We visited northen ireland and south ireland in just 2 days and the experience couldn't have been more enriching: beautiful coasts, breathtaking landscapes, nice little gift shops and cafes and super nice guides!

Me and my boyfriend (FROM PORTUGAL) highly recommend this guided tour with Wild Rover, and we do hope you enjoy as much as we did!
