It's a decent hostel. Nothing particularly fantastic or terrible about it. It was a 15-20min walk away from the city centre itself which is grand. The breakfast was also alright with cereals, toast, tea/coffee/milk/juice. A small inconvenience was that the men's toilets/showers were on a different floor from my room but sure it was nothing major.

Nice enough hostel, I liked that it was a little bit off the beaten path but still within a 15-minute walk of everything I wanted (including all of Grafton Street). The church-now-cafeteria is kinda fun, and breakfast is free (always a plus). Did laundry, plenty of outlets, but the showers are those weird ones where you have to hold the faucet down the whole time (minor inconvenience). Nights weren't too loud (and I was there over St Paddy's day) but the room was half my friends anyway, so that could be correlated.
Book early, it fills up.

Room Tip: Book early.

This place was not the worst hostel, but it was certainly nothing great. The nights we were there were overrun with noisy teenagers. Our dorm rooms were dirty and looked as if most of the people staying there were living in the hostel. The desk staff we dealt with were distracted and unhelpful; they seemed like they couldn't be bothered to check us in and then were confused by simple things (such as being members of hostelling international). The bathrooms were clean, but very crowded.

On the upside, breakfast was included. It was medicore, but free, and held in a cool old church that is attached the hostel. The kitchen was spotless and the cleaning staff were very friendly. The location was decent and very convenient if you want to catch a bus to the airport.

I probably wouldn't stay here again unless I really needed the very cheapest option.

Friends and I stayed for a night, it is was it says it is
We had the room for 3 with private bathroom 20€ each inc breakfast and free parking
You will never match that in the City Central on a bank holiday weekend
The room was spacious and spotless but as expected basic our room only had 1 electrical socket. Breakfast was self serve in the adjoining church , amazing room , basic toast and cereals .
Gated free parking. The staff could have not been any friendlier or helpful.
It's not for those seeking luxury but for those who want a shower and sleep..... Perfect

I chose yha for the generally high standard of their hostel around the world (hence I have a membership for good rates as well). The place was tidy, the staff accommodating. Showers were frustrating as the button needed to be pushed continually for water to run - one handed hair washing :) toilets didn't flush properly half the time, breakfast was free but nothing better than a shelter and location was scary. I don't generally go out at night alone anyway, but I wouldn't here - street kids were yelling racial slurs at a nice Indian couple outside as well - not great. This being said, it's cheap and it's a bed to sleep in.
