My wife and I checked in for a 2 night stay on Dec 29. The problems started from the moment we arrived. There was no doorman to help with luggage, and the elevator wasn't operating. Dragging 4 pieces of luggage up from the curb to the 3rd floor was no treat. The bed was probably quite comfortable when it was new 25 years ago. My back has yet to recover. The linen was rough and itchy. Our wake up calls were not placed and the breakfast we orderd up to our room did not arrive. On the 19 of Dec we stayed at the Brooks Hotel. The service and amenities were far superior. We would gladly stay there again. We will not stay at Buswells again. we would return to Brooks tommorow
