Cheap living! Friendly staff! Awesome location. the number 41 bus is located right outside of the hostel and will take you to the airport.

The location can not be beat. You are right in the heart of everything. The Jameson Distillery/Guinness Factory/Christ Church/Temple bar district etc are all within walking distance.

If you plan to travel to Dublin, get on a bus from the airport and get off the 5th stop, walk to Globetrotters and enjoy.

Room Tip: Get a dorm.

A really cheap hostel in the middle of the city. Our room were quite dusty, The staff was friendly helpful with everything we needed, like ordering taxis and tours. It's possible to walk to everything you would want to see in the city.

We've stayed at Globetrotters Dublin in November 2013 for 3 nights.
The staff was adorable, we arrived in the morning and we could leave our luggage the first and the last day.
The public bus to the airport is just in front of the hostel, When we arrived, the bus dropped us 2 min walk from the hostel. It's much cheaper and easier than the shuttle.
The location is perfect, we didn't use the tramway or the bus, that is not necessary!
The room was clean, big, towels were changed every day, everything like in a hotel!
The price was right for what we had!
However I would not recommend the breakfast, a bit expensive.

So out dated and smelly in bedrooms. Curtains in dorma look like 20 years without seeing a washing machine, shower broken including lock on door, so many bulbs not working making rooms dark, 1 electric socket working between 12 people, breakfast was awful and pricey. In desperate need of complete refurb they should visit Barnacles in Galway same price no comparison. Would have been cleaner to camp. Would never stay again or recommend. How the owner can sleep at night defies belief disgusting.

A group of 34 travelers from America really imposed on the hostel, but they accommodated for us perfectly. Everyone was nice, helpful, and knowledgeable about the city and the rooms were clean and spacious. I definitely recommend it!

This is so much more than a hostel. A group of us stayed on the May Bank Holiday for two nights and loved it – it started off with such a warm welcome from the chap on reception (I can’t remember his name unfortunately, but he was great throughout our stay!)

The hostel is attached to a hotel, but it’s all set in a very grand town house with stunning murals on the walls and elegant chandeliers (yup, in a hostel!). We booked an 8-bedroom with en-suite. It was clean, comfortable and spacious. Separate shower and toilet which was handy, and a cupboard for bags. It was very quiet and we weren’t disturbed at all. The room was even cleaned after our first night.

It’s a great location for Temple Bar and O’Connell Street etc – a 10 minute walk max, and it’s a very easy route. Taxi was around €6-10 so you’re better off walking. The area feels very safe too and there’s a Tesco right around the corner and plenty of take aways for those late-night drunken munchies.

Breakfast is €5 and you get a decent full Irish with juice and tea/coffee – you won’t get one in Temple Bar for under €10, so again, well worth it. You pay on the morning if you want it so no obligation to drag yourself out of bed!

We had a late flight home and the hostel allowed us to keep our bags in a locked room until 7pm.

I would definitely recommend Globetrotters, and I will most certainly stay next time I’m in Dublin.

Great location, right near tram stops and main bus/train stations. 5 mins walk from O'Connell Street and Temple Bar. Rooms OK with solid wooden bunk beds. Noisy guests which weren't brought under control by owners. Kitchen disgusting and smelt terrible.
