“Another Terrific Stay”
Reviewed July 13, 2012

We stay here each year for a week or so. We like it because it's very clean. Very comfortable and right in the middle of Dublin City. Premier Suites is no more than five minutes from St. Stephen's Green and so each morning we can start by bringing our daughter to the excellent playground in the Green.
The staff in Premier Suites are very friendly and in our four years going there they haven't changed personnel which must be a good sign.
The facilities are great. Dishwasher in the room and enough cooking equipment to keep you going while your on holidays. A particularly nice touch is the coffee machine in the foyer which gives very good coffee and it's complimentary, as is the use of the computer in the foyer.
All in all, we've being going for four years and will probably keep going as long as they maintain their very high standards.

Room Tip: The playground in St. Stephen's Green opens at around 9 and by 11 it can be very busy.

Having booked tickets for one of Westlife's ''farewell'' concerts at Croke Park, we left it a bit late to find accommodation - and surprise surprise, found B&B's either fully booked or so expensive. We discovered these suites and it turned out to be a good choice.

We walked from the city centre - lovely through St Stephen's Green - and then on arrival were greeted by a very friendly concierge.

The suite was great - great sized living room / kitchen, ample bedroom and super bathroom. Spotlessly clean throughout.

Bed / pillows were so comfortable and the shower had real power - just the thing after a day of sightseeing. Sitting room was good as was the good sized tv.

On the second night, we stayed in, cooked a meal and slumped onto the sofa. It was cheaper than eating out in the city where some of the prices were incredible.

Recommend this location - and being 15 mins from Grafton Street is no problem.

Room Tip: We were worried that being on the street frontage may have meant a noisy night - but the secondary g...

Booked this property for two nights in late May,2012, and we were extremely happy with the staff, location and suite. The airlink bus from the airport dropped us off just across the street from the property, and picked us up just a few steps from the property. We were upgraded from a regular suite to a penthouse suite, which was huge compared to hotels we have stayed in in Dublin, spacious living area with internet, and large kitchen area with washer/dryer. Located just a short 5 min. walk to St.Stephens Green and easy walking distance to Grafton St. for shopping and other parts of the city for the museums. Very clean, and a very helpful friendly staff. I was disappointed that Number 31 didn't have any rooms for this weekend, so I booked the closest hotel to it in the same neighborhood. It certainly doesn't have the charm of Number 31, nor the breakfast, but this is an excellent value. The suite was large, contained kitchen, good bathroom. The only drawback was the bed - it was old and tired. The staff was lovely and made the stay as enjoyable as possible. It's a great location, walking distance to Grafton St. and Trinity College.

Room Tip: Be careful to ask for a non-smoking room.

We stayed here with our four month year old son and had a great experience. Centrally located, spacious apartments with dishwasher, microwave, washer, dryer, underground car parking - what more could you need? Would definitely stay there again. The friendly Irish service was just a cherry on top.

We were in Dublin for a scientific conference my husband attended in the Ballsbridge section of Dublin. The conference booked us at a hotel in Ballsbridge (30 minute walk from central Dublin), but I was horrified when I checked the reviews on TripAdvisor a few weeks before our trip. Instead, for $44 per night LESS than the conference was willing to reimburse for a hotel room, I booked a one bedroom suite at Premier Suites Dublin. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a two bedroom suite for our five night stay. The suite had a small foyer, two small bedrooms (one with a queen size bed and the other with twins pushed together), a largish living room/kitchen/dining room and two bathrooms--one bedroom had an en-suite with a shower and the other was a larger hall bathroom with a bathtub shower combination. The kitchen area was upgraded with a granite counter, a two burner flat top electric stove, a small dishwasher and refrigerator, an electric tea kettle AND a combination washer/dryer. The living room had a wall mounted flat screen TV and there is free WiFi. This was clearly more room than we needed or expected, but it was a great surprise and very comfortable. This particular suite, #102, faced a back courtyard, so we had virtually no traffic noise. We did have some afternoon noise from what seemed to be a school, but the nights were quiet. The only complaint was some noise from people walking above us. Our suite had attractive wooden (or laminate) floors and I suspect the rooms above us did as well, so if someone was clomping around in shoes, we heard it---and our upstairs neighbors were somewhat early clompers---but while worth mentioning, this did not detract much from our experience.

The feel of this place is more of an apartment building with a front desk (staffed until 9:00 PM) than a hotel. Housekeeping is weekly. We did not need any assistance with our luggage, but you do have to go up steps to enter the lobby. After that, you have access to an elevator. I don't know what assistance would be available if you needed help with luggage. There are a few tables and tea, coffee and packaged danish available in the lobby as well as a computer with internet access for guest use. The front desk person was able to provide a local map and some restaurant suggestions and pamphlets about local "things to see and do" are on display.

This apartment hotel is very well located, south of the River Liffey, and a half a block away from St. Stephens Green in the Georgian section of central Dublin. Grafton Street (the pedestrian shopping street) is diagonally across the Green.Trinity College and the National Museum are perhaps ten minute walks. There are many good restaurants at all price points in the nearby Temple Bar area and the streets that parallel Grafton Street, behind the Powerscourt indoor mall. There are also restaurants in the Georgian homes that surround St. Stephens Green. The airport bus (and other public buses) stops literally at the front door and the "hop on, hop off" tourist buses are available along St. Stephens Green. There are several convenience stores, pubs and a bagel breakfast/sandwich place down the street.

Based on our experience, we are able to highly recommend Premier Suites Dublin.

Room Tip: #102 is a two bedroom suite located at the rear of the building.

We really enjoyed our week here. Everything was clean and operational. Reception staff very friendly and helpful. Easy access to all the sights and the airport bus stops right at the door.

Room Tip: Perhaps a back room away from the main street which is noisy with buses.
