“Genuine, italian”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

Thank heaven for small restaurants out the hustle and bustle of the city centres that are rare temples of good, well prepared food.
The Pinocchio Restaurant, housed in what seems to be on the street level premises of the Dublin Luas station at Ranelagh in Dublin reveal very little of the culinary experience within.
But for those who like italian food as is should be, with pasta prepared with just the right attention and who don't mind that pizza is NOT on the menu - this is the place.
Well tempered staff make it all the more enjoyable.

“check it out”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

Pinocchio's is defintely one of the best Italian restaurants in Dublin. I allways recommending to friends. We always have the antipasti board as a starter to share and it is divine ! lots of freshly cut Italian meats, roasted vegetables, olives and lovely cheese ! yum ! new young ,, The house wine is excellent and the early bird great value. All in all - a real find !

“A Real Italian in the heart of Dublin”
Reviewed February 23, 2014

Loved the menu ...not just the typical irish Italian.. having been in Italy many times was refreshing to find an authentic Italian menu in Dublin with an exciting selection of daily specials. After first visiting as a couple we returned with the family and they are enjoyed as much as we did. As well as the food the staff were excellent in both recommending foods and wines. Have returned several times.

Definitely worth checking out !

“Destined to become a regular haunt!”
Reviewed February 22, 2014

Both he and I looked at each other as we arrived home very very late from work one evening and instantly agreed that cooking was out of the question. We jumped back in the car and dialled Pinocchio who confirmed a table (even though the kitchen was about to close!). We ordered with great speed and sat back, surrendering ourselves to the TLC of the team at Pinocchio. We sought a recommendation for a glass each of red wine and it was wonderful - can't remember the name but will be looking for it again on my next visit! Some olives and antipasti were hoovered up by us before our mains arrived and as always were really, really good. When I think of Pinocchio, I always smile ... you couldn't but smile when you dine at Pinocchio!
