We didn’t know what to expect...we met at a pub and moved on to two other pubs. The two musicians were outstanding! So talented musically and they regaled is with stories, taught us about different instruments, told us about the origin of Irish songs/genres. We were a large group of 10 and we each so enjoyed this evening!
Oh, bring $$ along cuz you’ll buy your own beer or drinks. Also, you’ll probably want to tip the musicians.

Highly recommend this! Musicians are always changing so you never know who will be performing on a given night. But it doesn’t matter. We did the same tour three years ago when we were last in Dublin with different musicians. Both evenings were excellent. Tour starts at St. John Gogarty Pub in Temple Bar and moves on to two other pubs where you can order a pint, listen to some great playing, and learn a bit about traditional Irish music. Total time for the evening is about 2 1/2 hours, including approximately 10 minute walks between pubs.

I attended as a solo person, wanting to experience the Dublin pub scene but not being comfortable going to pubs alone. This was a great way to get out into the Temple Bar district and also meet some other travellers. Loved that we were able to learn about Ireland and the Irish music, and had seats everywhere we went.

This was so great. You get to hear actual Irish music on a variety of instruments and spend the evening with the musicians hearing their stories and some history as well. Plus there is traditional dance too. We really enjoyed this and highly recommend it!

Two musicians, Bianca and Michael, entertained the group for about 2+ hours. Music and commentary was excellent. We took the Crawl without the dinner and were glad we did. We were able to just get a pizza versus a grade C meal at one of the stops. Do this for the music and beer, not for the food
