This one is a bargain. We visited 3 pubs and our two musicians were wonderful. The pints of Guinness, the lively and historic pub atmosphere, combined with traditional Irish music made for a superb first night in Dublin.

Two musicians play in 3 bars. The tickets pay for thei performance as participants drink and listen at 3 bars. The first one, where guests meet sell you meals and drinks at inflated food prices. I think the performers who perform traditional Irish music, explain their instruments and about special Irish instruments, the difference between reels and jigs, are good and provide humorous stories and asides. I was disappointed in not hearing different musicians, the usual pub crawl experience.

Most pub crawls are about drinking. This is not - this is much more about the music. We had two expert Irish musicians take us to three different pubs. We were given a private room (a group of about 30ish) and they entertained us with stories, some history (don't worry - this isn't professorial) and of course traditional Irish music. They did not play the Irish top 40 (thank god - you can hear Whiskey in a Jar just so many times) but instead offered a range of less traditional Irish music that was still fun and folksy. They duo hung out afterwards and we chatted them up about other places to hear real Irish music. If you like music, this really is a must do!

A great evening! The crawl started in Gogertys and then went to the Ha'penny and Brannagans (you follow the musicians to each place). The rooms in the pubs were specifically for the tour.

The music was excellent and the musicians told the stories of the songs, Irish tales and history. They involved the crowd and made us all feel welcome.

Would definitely recommend this - but you must book! I booked online around 4 or 5 days before but had to change my plans to go on Friday instead of Saturday.

This was not at all what I expected. There were way too many people in a way too small space. You couldn't even get close to the bar to get a drink. You'd do better to do your own crawl and just pop in and out of pubs to listen to the music and enjoy a Guinness. Really disappointed.
