We stayed here for one week in December 2013. The hotel is exactly what is to be expected in an older, quaint hotel reminiscent of home. There was always a staff member running the front desk which was convenient at times when assistance or help was needed. One particular staff member was very amiable, courteous, hilarious and just downright fun. In addition to his vivacious personality, he was so helpful and the only staff member who seemed to take an interest in the guests visting. Unfortuantely, not one of us remembers his name or else I would put it here :( We wanted to stay close to everything, but not in the middle of the liveliest part of Dublin, such as Temple Bar. At the Harding Hotel, we were within walking distance to all of the main neighborhoods of Dublin but without sacrificing a good night's sleep due to nightlife noise. The room was clean - Mary Poppins would be proud- and very inviting. Despite the cold outside, the room was warm enough without necessitating the heater, though guests have the option to employ the in-room heater. There was some noise until 11pm sharp from the pub next door to the hotel, but nothing outrageous. (If you were to request a room away from the pub, for fear of noise disruption, I'm sure the staff would oblige.) There were many restaurants and cafes nearby allowing us to always find great food easily. Additionally, there were enough shops nearby to satisfy our shopping needs without the use of vehicles. The Hop On Hop Off bus stop is located directly around the corner of the hotel as is the Air Link bus stop, providing guests with optimal sightseeing experiences without the expense. The only downside experienced was the very limited sink space for getting ready. It was small with only a shelf about 1 foot long and 6 inches out and with three women, two of which require contact lense paraphenelia, it was sometimes a challenge getting ready in a hurry.
