This place is such a great place to stop by for a cuppa and a piece of cake. Lovely service, delicious home-made cakes and a great feeling of space as it benefits from the Powerscourt Centre's high ceilings. I recommend their brownie!

This small restaurant is almost hidden in the middle of Dublin, in a nice small commercial centre.
Me and my girlfriend really appreciated the kindness and warmth of the waitresses, as well as the food: a silky vegetable soup and a platter of smoked sausages with tomatoes and beans. Both the courses were really fine tasting, and it was plainly clear that everything was freshly cooked (as the bread) from local ingredients.
So we can say that this place is well worth a visit if you are strolling in town centre in Dublin and want to have a relaxing break for lunch.

Amazing food. All food is freshly made and cooked on site (some places say that but it's not true! ) Great soup and sandwiches with a huge pot of tea. I loved the bacon and pear sandwich. You must come here.

We stopped at Powerscourt Townhouse Centre while on a walking tour of city centre. We had a nice, relaxing lunch at The Pepper Pot. I had the roast pear, bacon, and Mount Callan cheddar sandwich; my husband had the sausage with tomato and apple chutney sandwich. Both were delicious. The prices were reasonable, but the servings weren't particularly large. For American diners, please remember that the bacon they serve is more like ham than the meat candy that we call bacon. While there, be sure to check out the other shops in the mall.
