Went to Diwali last night with friends for a birthday meal. Food was excellent and a great time was had by all. The nepalese dishes were full of favour and very tasty

“Do go to Diwali!”
Reviewed May 3, 2014

I am a fan of Diwali and a regular lunchtime visitor. Occasionally, we meet groups of friends here for dinner when you definitely have to book ahead as it is very popular in the evenings, especially over the weekend. The food is a pretty standard choice of Indian/Nepalese dishes but it is a Nepalese owned restaurant. All the food is fresh and tasty and there is a very good wine list. Some of the house reds are very good and reasonably priced for Ireland. I will repeat my rant about the price of wines in Irish restaurants - the prices are simply an exploitation. €5 or maybe even €10 as a mark up. but €15 or €20 is robbery. Here at Diwali they are not so wicked! So come and enjoy a nice Nepalese meal with a reasonably priced bottle of wine. Full marks too for the friendly and helpful staff.

“One of the best Indian meals I've had.”
Reviewed April 24, 2014

I had their Nepalese special and my partner had a Korma. Both clearly made very well, and with fresh ingredients. Staff are friendly. Nice atmosphere. A bit pricey but absolutely worth it.

“Delicious Dinner”
Reviewed April 23, 2014 via mobile

Absolutely enjoyed the dinner, and received a free shot of liquor afterwards! I had one of the Sizzles, and my boyfriend had one of the lamb dishes. Both were delicious. Moderate pricing for great food, definitely recommended if you're looking for a good dinner place outside the traditional Irish meals.
