Despite taking a little organisation to travel here, it is a must see in Dublin. It is an integral part of Irish History and particularly about relations with England/Irish experiences under English rule. I have been here on several occasions with friends and family and despite this it never disappoints. Always intriguing and thought provoking, the tours are excellent and give you a real sense of the History of the building and terrible conditions/treatment prisoners suffered. It suits those with a knowledge of Irish history and those without alike. Definitely make time for this whilst in Dublin.
