Owner description: GUINNESS STOREHOUSE(R), Ireland's No. 1 visitor attraction is a "must see" on any visit to Dublin. Housed in an old fermentation plant in the heart of St James's Gate Brewery, the now seven-storey visitor experience tells the story of Ireland's iconic drink and beings to life the heritage of this world famous beer. Your journey begins standing at the bottom of the world's largest pint glass, which rises through the building. It is a dramatic story that begins over 250 years ago and ends in Gravity(R) Bar, Dublin's highest bar where you will receive a complimentary pint of GUINNESS(R) while enjoying spectacular views over Dublin.
Useful Information: Wheelchair access, Stroller parking, Bathroom facilities, Stairs / elevator

Truly a Great place to be... Not just for Beer fans!
This place has a Great Food!!! Variety of information on beer and how it's made... a large gift shop with things you can't find anywhere else.

The entrance fee includes a ticket for one pint of Guiness, Which you can claim it from the Gravity Bar, or The Guinness Academy where you will learn and brew your own beer!

Fairly interesting site and some of the exhibits were engaging but...too crowded, too expensive, too noisy. One of the rooms involved "talking portraits" but the sound quality was so poor that we could hear nothing, just like many others who moved swiftly through this room: pity as a lovely idea and I would have loved it to work. View from the bar at the top of the building was great, as was the Guinness itself.

"Thank you very much for taking the time to post some feedback on your recent visit the Home of Guinness. Guinness Storehouse is a very popular attraction and we are delighted that many visitors take time out while in Dublin to pay us a visit. The summer time is particularly busy so the morning time or afternoon is best if you prefer a quieter visit. We are always very conscious of comfort and safety levels in the building and do try to ensure that everyone has a memorable time with us.
The Arthur Guinness Gallery just opened in the last week and we are really interested in hearing what our visitors think of the experience. This exhibit is currently a work in progress as we try to establish what areas need improving like sound, lightning etc. Thank you again for visiting and for this review. Slainte.

Unlike some breweries, this really is about the process of quality- ingredients, brewing, distributing and brewing. Housed in an authentic part of the I'd brewery, this attraction tells the story of Guiness through 7 floors of well-done displays that are visually attractive and informative. The entrance fee includes a ticket for one pint of Guiness, which can be claimed at the 7th floor Gravity Bar, providing outstanding 360degree views of Dublin or at the 4th floor 'Guinness Academy' where you will learn the proper way to 'pull' your draft of the brew. There are several venues for food (surprisingly good!), and a large gift shop for those Guiness logos on every imaginable item. The Hop On Hop Off bus stops at the door.

We came in late and were advised to get our free Guiness in the Gravity Bar at first because the last drink would be served at 8 o' clock. Impressive view over the skyline of Dublin.
Better use the wireless guides for the tour for more info. We were expecting to see some of the inside of the brewery but it's only a look at the storehouse which is still impressive but a small peek to the inside would have added a bit extra.

Went with a group. Had our own guide and we used headsets so we could hear her. Their are several levels each showcasing a different step on how beer is brewed. One level is dedicated to the advertising campaigns and it's fun to see all the old posters. As part of our tour, we were able to to the Gravity Bar, which has an amazing view of Dublin. They also have a gift store were one can purchase all sorts of items with the Guinness logo.
