Stayed here for one night in November. There was a mixup with my credit card expiry date (travel agent fault), which the lady at reception felt she had to explain to me for about 10 minutes (why she didn't call the travel agent to sort it out I don't know), while constantly saying "I'm not having a go at you". After 10 minutes of "not having a go at me", it was hard to work out what she wanted me to say. However finally got up to the room. Room was nice, spacious and with tea/coffee facilities. Walking distance to the major sites, and fairly convenient to the aircoach provided you don't have a great deal of baggage (which I didn't). Breakfast was fine, although a little disorganised. All in all a pleasant stay, with the staff at reception quite helpful after the initial confusion.

This is a lovely well run hotel in the centre of Dublin. It is situated near to St Stephens Green and a 5 minute walk from the top of Grafton Street. Ideally situated for restaurants and shops. The open top bus tour is within a 5 min walk also. We spent a lovely few days here celebrating our Silver Wedding Anniversary and would recommend this hotel to couples or families. It is situated in a quiet residential/office area. The staff were really friendly and knew their stuff. The breakfast was great and set us up for the day. Tips for travel to from Dublin airport to hotel. Take Aircoach - just across the road from the exit of departures. 12 euros return to city. Get off at Trinity college and walk up Grafton Street and then up Harcourt Street to hotel (about a 10-15 min walk). Returning to airport pick up coach in Dawson Street outside the Pink Shop.

Harrington Hall is within walking distance to most of the Tourist attractions in Dublin.
The Hotel is friendly and produces a good Irish breakfast.
The Drawing room on the ground floor has a country ambience and is a good place to relax after taking in the sights.

The bedroom was a good size and clean....although the shower had very poor pressure.

I would recommend Harrington Hall.

This hotel is in a great location, within walking distance of Grafton Street. I booked on their website for 141 euros per night including breakfast, and one of those nights was a weekend. They also have free, secure parking. The front desk staff was very helpful and nice. Our room was a bit small by American standards, but given that I was in Europe I wasn't expecting a large room. The bathroom looked like it had been redone recently. The only drawback was that we had a room in the front of the hotel. There were drunk people screaming outside on and off until 4:30 a.m. on Saturday. We didn't hear anything on Sunday night. Other than that, the hotel was great and I would definitely stay there again.

Very nice hotel in a good location in Dublin. It was a few blocks off the main path - but that helped to keep it much quieter at night. (Even then if you are there on a hot night and you want the windows open you might be awakened during the night when the bars close. If you get a room in the back, or keep your windows closed, it's not noisy at all.) The staff was very friendly, the rooms very adequate (we got a standard room - not a lot of extra room, but plenty good enough), and the breakfast was delicious. We would definitely go back there.

We just returned from several nights at the Harrington Hotel. As others mentioned, the location is walking distance to St. Stephen's Green, the hop-on hop-off tour buses and Grafton Street (Try Bewley's for lunch). We were pleasantly suprised by the lovely communal sitting room and the delicious breakfast.
Their family suite worked out perfectly for us, a family of four. There was a sofabed downstairs and a king size bed in a small loft. Very charming furniture and fixtures as well.

I was most pleased with the facilities at Harrington Hall and look forward to staying there again. While we were only in Dublin for a short time, Harrington Hall proved convenient to many of the things that we wanted to see. It was a quick walk to St. Stephen's Green, Trinity College, and Grafton Street. The staff was more than helpful. We had a very early flight and assured them that it wasn't necessary to make special arrangements for an early breakfast. However, they still had muffins and juice at the ready as we checked out. They also took extra time reviewing a map with us so that we didn't have any problems getting to the airport.
