A great space encompassing history and beauty and easy to get to. Well maintained. Parking on a Sunday a problem.

“Something for everyone”
Reviewed February 28, 2013

The Zoo, the visitors centre, the 500 deer, bike hire, playgrounds, football pitches, walks, and of course Farmleigh. It's a place you can easily spend the day in and probabyl go back the next. And after you've walked your feet off stroll through to the Hole in the Wall pub for food and a relaxing pint !

“Wide open spaces in the city”
Reviewed February 27, 2013

Only 3 miles from the centre of Dublin and on several bus routes this is the largest city park in Europe. It has several herds of deer as well as plenty of grassland and woodland walks. It has an number of historiic monuments as well the home of the Irish president ~(Arus an Uachtaran) and Dublin Zoo which is famous for its pioneering work in prserving species that are on the endangered list. The Phoenix Park is well worth a visit at any time of year if you're in Dublin.

“Lovely place to walk”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

Last Saturday, 23rd February, I was in the Phoenix Park for the first time since I was a little girl visiting the Zoo. I was up for the Operation Transformation 5 k Fun Run. There was so many people there. The Phoenix Park was so well kept and there was so many people walking, running and jogging that weren't part of the Fun Run. A great facility for Dublin City and a place I will hope to visit again soon. I'll try not to keep it so long until my next visit.

“Great for any day”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

It is a great place to go: for a walk, for a cycle, for socialising, for an event, occasion, for a market, to visit the gardens, for a coffee, for a meal. We go as often as possible to see the different shades of green through the seasons
