Very green. It was a nice sunny day and we enjoyed laying on the grass. It had a nice pond with ducks, but it was a bit dirty; there was a mucky film on top of the water near the perimeter. A few plastic garbage items were floating on it. But all in all, it was still a decent park where people flocked to that day because of the great weather.

The park was very well kept, very pretty (took lots of pics like a tourist should!) the atmosphere was lovely - everyone was chilling on the grass and some were having picnics. Theres lots of ducks on the lake and its nice just to sit on the banks and watch them, or walking around the park is good too - the park is bigger than you expect. There are also statues plonked around the park so that you can have a read of who these historical Irish people were
