“Dry days walk.”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

An oasis off the shopping centre of Dublin, an easy stroll. Sit on the many benches and enjoy the flowers, the ducks on the ponds, music in the bandstand, and the people relaxing on the grass if the sun is shining. Watch Dublin passing before your eyes & absorb the atmosphere as you walk along the pathways & enjoy the well-manicured grass areas & flower beds. Perfect place for time-out and fresh air.

“Tranquility in the centre of the city”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

This is a great park and one of the gems of Dublin city. Look at many of the statues and try and remember them so you can look them up later. It's a great way to learn some history.
Really well kept gardens and flower beds and in the summer you may get to see a brass band at lunchtime. There's also a large playground there for kids,

“Lovely”
Reviewed March 21, 2013 via mobile

We took a short stroll through this beautiful gem one afternoon. This would be such a great place for a picnic & a respite from the bustle on a warmer dry day. There's a pond with ducks & swans, plenty of space to spread out. We found the landscaping & sculptures pretty & interesting. It also has a large playground for the kids & you can't ask for a nicer park. It was very clean as well.

“Nice Public Space”

We took a nice leisurely stroll through St Stephen's Green one morning. Well worth a stop as a break from walking through Dublin. Nicely landscaped.

What a lovely way to spend a morning. The park is so clean, and peaceful. You nearly forget that you are in the middle of a city!
