“Rodeo drive of Dublin”

Nice wide streets, only open to foot traffic, this is the place to be if you wanna spend some serious Euro. High-end brands mostly, there are some tourist shops mixed in. Worth exploring even if you do not spend any mullah....even if just for the people watching. There were lots of street entertainers on the weekend day we were there.

“Well worth a visit.”
Reviewed April 1, 2013 via mobile

Lovely part of Dublin for the shopaholics.. Plenty of variety of shops from Louis Vuitton and other designers to general run of the mill shops on the high street. Visit M & S for a look at the architecture and grand staircase. Don't just stay on the high street, explore the side streets and uncover a multitude of gems....

“Average enough”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

Had been to TGI Fridays and got terrible service, it seemed to be the norm in Dublin so I didnt expect much here. Went for the 12.50 deal, seemed like great value. Never knew about this restaurant but a friend told us where it was. Lady who greeted us was very nice, got a table for 7 pax quiet easily. Area was very nice, clean, had a nice view into the kitchen. However sun was bliding coming in the large window. Had to wear sunglasses so it was obvious to staff we were in discomfort but nothing was said by staff, however to be fair they seemed to be working very hard. Order was taken, they hadent about 4 things on the menu. Got out mains, Macaronni and cheese was nice, but after 5 fork fulls it got bland, friend had roast beef, nice and tender but for 14 euro, expected more veg. Beef bourgeone was lovely but very very small served in a le cruset dish well it was actually a churchill dish but very nice. While eating our meal the chef was giving out to a waitress at the Pass, we could hear the swearing up to 10 metres away and the waiting staff were a bit phased by it, I dont blame them. Floor staff in Aprons work hard, some of the floor staff in shirts dont work so hard.Juice was included in the 12.50 meal, however it was a juice from a mulitpack stating "should not be sold seperatly", hmmmmm. Small too, advice, go for the coke, or the small glass of wine. Serice was slow enough but they were very busy, motto seems to be turn over as many tables as possible, ak. clean and reset a table before clearing customers main course dishes, However with high rents I can understand that maximising covers is necessary. All in all food was fairly good and for 12.50 it was all good value.

“Shopping in style”

A trip to the city would not be complete without a browse around the shops in Grafton St, great choice of stores but you will need deep pockets for some of the high class outfits.
