Attractive buildings, lots of green spaces and places to sit and contemplate, plus--of course--the Book of Kells and the Long Library.

Trinity College is breathtaking. The architecture, statues, books, and history is awe inspiring. I could spend days wondering around this place. I would have given anything to look through the bookshelves and look at the endless selection of literature. I only got a glimpse of the Book of Kells, which was disappointing. Unfortunately, I was on a tour and time was limited.

We did not get into the university itself, but we visited the famous library. It is impressive with so many books covered in leather, the architecture of the interior, really great!

While in Dublin did a visit to Trinity, enjoyed the tour given by students, then got to see the Book of Kells. the oldest written chapters of the bible in Europe! Several different types of architecture in the building on campus. Some interesting stories also.

The campus was beautiful however it was often very crowded. However, there are lots of benches and spots on the green to sit and relax or have lunch.
