This pub was recommended to us many years ago by a Dublin resident and we have gone back on every trip since. Even though it is now a non smoking establishment the yellow (cigarette stained?) walls and stone floors are a testament to a bygone age. The only modern piece of equipment on show was the tv displaying the days horse racing. It's not too far from the centre but Its just of the tourist track so it can take a bit of finding but it is worth it. There were a few obvious tourists (like us) but there were also a few locals who are happy to chat. The Guinness was the best we tasted - even better than the Guinness factory!
