“Great shepherd's pie”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2014

We have a bar in our hometown based on this original, so we had to track this one down. Glad we did. We had lunch here on our last day, so I had to have shepherd's pie one last time. It was so good. Our portions were huge!

“A real Irish pub with great atmosphere”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2014

This is real Irish pub with local people ( not just tourist & kids like the Temple Bar st)
the atmosphere here is great. there is a band that play & sing music.
the place is packed so we sat together with other people which was also fun.
food is regular for pubs ( beer, burger , fries) burger was a bit dry.
had a great time here would definitely come back to visit

“Happy to have visited!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2014

This place is a must go. As a first timer in Dublin, this place was suggested many time so I couldn't not attend to one of the evening diners. I must say that this was an experience not just a dinner. I have traveled a lot, especially in Europe and this was a one and only!!! We had fabulous typical folk food together with some history/story telling. The host is a great guy!! and after having a great time upstairs went down for a couple of drinks at the pub. Solid pub!! Its good to reserve.

“Fun and Entertaining Dinner at Oldest Pub in Ireland!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 5, 2014

A bit "touristy" but fun and educational nevertheless! Was a perfect "last night" activity in Dublin and I recommend it for families and anyone wanting to become a bit more familiar with Irish history and folklore.
