“Best pub in Dublin”
Reviewed October 25, 2012

We really enjoyed our visit to the Brazen Head in Dublin. It is a large facility with several rooms and a courtyard. We sat in a cozy room with a small bar and fireplace. We had good pub food, chicken curry and fish and chips. Both were satisfactory. The live music was a very enjoyable Irish folk group.

“The story tales and meal”
Reviewed October 23, 2012

I thoroughly enjoyed my night here, it included storytelling of dublin and fairies and music. Helena told stories well and she had an amazing voice. The food was well yummy. I had tomato soup, irish stew and they were both exceptional. They did get confused how much to charge my drink, I ordered the same drink Southern Comfort and lemonade but each time it was a different price.

“History just part of the reward”
Reviewed October 22, 2012

This historic pub - supposedly the oldest in Ireland - was worth stopping in for lunch. The staff were incredibly busy but friendly and accommodating. Fish and Chips were great washed down by a Guinness. What more could you ask for in Ireland?

“Great Historic Stop”
Reviewed October 21, 2012 via mobile

To be in the oldest pub in Dublin was a great experience. As we walked past the beer kegs at the entrance to an area that had signed currency over the walls and ceiling, it was hard to take it all in. What a unique place. The lunch was good, but not the best cut of meat in my stew. The service was good, fast and the food came out hot. A good stop for our tour group.

“Great food and PERFECT atmosphere”
Reviewed October 19, 2012

Great food, great service, and wonderful music. If you come for the stories and Irish songs be sure to make a reservation and make it clear that that's what you want. Otherwise you can enjoy a meal in one of the many other rooms at this inn. Live Irish music.
