Why not staying at the dorms at Trinity college. Basic accomodation but nice experience and possiblilty to go to the gym. The university is very well located.
The bed for 2 persons is a little bit small but everything is clean.

5 of us stayed in Goldsmith Hall for 2 nights, we booked direct with the University and were in our own private apartment.

The rooms were clean and modern and were excellent value for money, we could of used the sports facilities for free but didn't as we were only there for 2 days.

The location is great as the main entrance is right on top of the Temple Bar area and close to O'Connell Street so there is no need to use taxis.

The only negative is the check out time of 10:00, we would of preferred a 12:00 check out.

Would stay here again if I go back to Dublin.

Room Tip: If there is a group of you going book direct with the University and ask to be allocated a private a...

Our family stayed, once again, at Trinity College Campus. While this is not a "luxury" hotel, it is a comfortable, very centrally located, accommodation, oozing in history. I always love the feeling of living in an historical building, and Trinity College is an excellent way to have this experience. The young staff is super helpful and was so accommodating for my husband who was quite disabled this trip. We love being in the center of everything in Dublin. A short walk to Temple Bar, transportation to everywhere, banks, shopping, the Hop on and Off Busses. You name it.

Room Tip: Be sure to ask for a ground floor room if you have mobility issues. They will surely try to accommod...

I stayed her with my teenage daughter. The cost is good, namely in comparison to the hotels in Dublin. The location is fantastic. You can get any where walking from here. A continental breakfast is included. The rooms are small but do include a shower with toiletries. Linens and towels are included. There is also a kitchen to make tea and coffee or reheat leftovers. I felt very safe there. It was quiet but the rooms are old and you can here those above you and next to you. If you are a light sleeper, not an option for you.

Our stay at Trinity was a good value for a city location. Typical dorm room, but very clean. Bathroom was clean and adequate. Shower a little small but typical of european showers in size. Accomodations people were very helpful and freindly and even have a plug adapter for American computers you can use for a refundable deposit. Breakfast was good. Nice selection of cereal, juice, yogurt coffeee, tea, scones, yum, rolls and pastry. The kind lady at the cash register was nice enough to pack a take out pack for breakfast for my son who wanted to sleep in and it was packed quite full. We visited thier science museum of illusion which was very interesting. The value was an excellent value and good location to get the ghost tour and dinner and nearby pubs. Walking distance to everything . Good security at night too, quite comfortable.

Room Tip: We were on the third floor. No a/c but the windows opended cooled the room quickly. About six flight...

I stayed on the Trinity College Campus this week. I arrived after 10pm from Dublin Airport (The Aircoach Bus stops right outside Trinity) and I was greeted by a very helpful member of staff. I was given an information pack, key card and breakfast voucher for the Buttery Café. Myself and another guest was driven over to our accommodation. I was in Block 50 which was a very quiet block. My room was en suite with a single bed, Table, Lamp, two chairs (The normal student accommodation) and it looked like it was newly painted. The en suite had Shower gel/Shampoo for use. There was no TV in my room. The Breakfast Voucher is for use in the Buttery Café and there is very good choice available. I would agree with a previous reviewer the scones are divine!

Room Tip: Rooms in Block 50 are quieter

Situation is just perfect. rooms are very very simple. Wi-fi is available on the campus but not in the rooms. Breakfast is a "student" breakfast - there's all you need to start a good day full of energy but don't expect a refined breakfast. Students welcome you and are very nice. Very safe place and right on the campus of the Dublin college. The famous "book of Kells" will be right next door to your room! If you travel alone it's really a great place to stay, if you do not need extra comfort.

Room Tip: Try to make sure you get one of the few rooms that has wi-fi.
