I have stayed at this hotel frequently in the past year, and it never fails to impress, indeed each visit has been excellent.
This hotel was one of the most highly regarded in the seventies and eighties, and is certainly on the way back to that status. Don't be deceived by the rather dated exterior, as a programme of modernisation is ongoing, and the rooms are finished to a high spec and sleep quality and at the breakfast ( try the white pudding!) Are top class.
The addition of an executive lounge is a further bonus forhilton elite status members.
The hotel is conveniently located to both the city ( Stephens Green 10 mins/Grafton St 15 mins), as well as Aviva Stadium and R.D.S.
I would highly recommend this hotel.

It was so hot, we asked for a fan on day two. Day three brought freshly roasted chestnuts. Day four was a blur and very little sleep. And on the fifth day of burning my true love brought to me five ounces of (burn) cream! We got one night free, but it was not worth it. unless you get ac in this oven of a hotel, avoid it and stay downtown. If downtown is too pricy, stay close to one of the hop on, hop off or other bus line.

This hotel is situated a bit out of town but we picked up the air bus straight off the plane and it dropped us right outside the hotel for 7€.
We stayed for two nights on a short break and when booking it was the only hotel we found offering breakfast included in the rate.

The hotel had recently had a re-vamp and everything was new and very a clean.

Staff were helpful on arrival and we stayed in an executive room. The bed was huge and exceptionally comfortable to he usual Hilton standard. No air conditioning which let's the place down as it was very hot during our stay and the small window was restricted and only opened slightly.

Breakfast was self serve from the buffet with good choices of cereal, fruits, cooked and continental available.
We ate in the bar one evening as the restaurant was closed which was a shame but the food was of good quality.

Access to the town centre is a good 20 minute walk but taxis outside the hotel in abundance will take you into town for approx 10€.

I would recommend this hotel as a great place to stay - if you don't mind a walk to the town centre!

After spending 5 days at this hotel I would never go back. The food was disgusting I had a chicken burger & the chicken was off, my friend get a sandwich & the bread was stale. I was not the only person to complain about the food. The fourth day our room was not even cleaned or bed made. Never again.

This hotel is only a 20-minute walk from Dublin's city center, and it has a very clean, modern design. Huge lobby, well-appointed guest rooms, nice fitness center, EXCELLENT breakfast buffet. I would have given this hotel an "Excellent" rating, but the bar in the hotel was horrible--perhaps the coldest, rudest service I have ever experienced in any hotel.
