I had a lunch meeting in Camden Kitchen yesterday and it was fabulous. Gorgeous little place with very friendly staff and a simple menu. Food was anything but simple tho. It was superb. I had the hake with cous cous and tenderstem broccoli. I savoured every mouthful it was so delicious. I will definitely be back and am dying to try it for dinner now.

“Excellent food and friendly service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 5, 2014

My friend and I ate here on a recent Grabone deal, 2 courses from the A La Carte Menu plus a glass of wine each for €49.95. Fantastic value, I even had the starter special of prawns with chorizo, which was really tasty. We both had the Beef for Main Course, which was tender. There was not a whole lot else on the plate, and we were glad we had ordered a side of gratin potatoes, which were very moreish. The staff were very efficient and friendly.
The tables are pretty close together, we were lucky to have one by the window.

If you should be visiting Dublin and enjoy good food in friendly and comfortable surroundings make your way to the Camden Kitchen. You will not be disappointed. The restaurant serves seasonal food which guarantees good flavours. The skill of the chefs is excellent and all the staff are helpful and ready to answer any questions.

“How to Elevate a mid-week Lull with a Fabulous Dinner”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2014

I have reviewed Camden Kitchen previously and it's so nice to be able to revisit a restaurant over a period of a few years without once being disappointed. This time, we were in need of a mid-week lift; somewhere we could press the Pause button for an hour or two, and recharge after 3 days of long hours at work. Reasons why I love to dine at Camden Kitchen include ... the warm welcome; the unobtrusive yet attentive service; the perfectly executed seasonal, organic dishes; and the cosy ambience that makes you feel you have stepped off the roundabout for a hour or three! Biggest problem with Camden Kitchen .... although the menu is not extensive, I still struggle to choose what I want to eat because each dish is thoughtfully and creatively constructed. Not a bad problem though ... !!

“Good food & service, a little too crowded.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2014

The Camden Kitchen is a bistro located just around the corner from the popular Bleeding Horse pub on Camden St..
It’s a small restaurant with small tables that are set quite close together – you can’t avoid overhearing neighbours conversation.
That said, the food and service are very good.

We chose to have dinner in the upstairs area which seemed a little less noisy.
Our starters – ham hock, chicken & black pudding terrine and smoked & fresh salmon tartare, were very tasty.
For mains, we both opted for the rib-eye steak with gnocchi, mushrooms, onions and a side of crispy green beans. The steaks were top class and perfectly cooked to order. In the interests of research, we forced ourselves to have dessert – pannacotta and a rhubarb crumble were dispatched with pleasure.
We had a nice bottle of Torres Ribero del Duero (€36) to wash it all down.

Service throughout was informal, friendly and very well judged. The only clunky parts of the experience were having to move things around on the very small table to accommodate dishes, glasses etc.., and trying not to overhear what was being said at the adjoining tables.
