“Faultless !!”
Reviewed March 1, 2013

Recently came upon this gem as we walked from train station to city centre,
Liked the look of the menu outside and decided to take a chance on it - and we are delighted that we did.
The atmosphere and staff were first class. The food was def the best we had over our whole weekend in Dublin. Excellent value for money, looked great and tasted even better !
Don't ever change - cant wait to come back.

“First class food”
Reviewed February 22, 2013

Went there last week with friends. It's basically a pub with food, and thus rather noisy, but the food and service are first class. The smoked duck starter was delicious, and the lamb was the best I've eaten in a long time. The dishes chosen by my companions were received with equal enthusiasm. The is a busy, buzzy restaurant, not for elegant dining, but for good food and good atmosphere hard to beat.

“Great food & great value”
Reviewed February 16, 2013

I went there for the first last night with my wife. I'd read about it before on TripAdvisor. I have to say it lived up to expectations. The food was great, particularly the smoked duck starter, and the wine our server recommended was excellent! So much so that we ended up ordering 5 glasses when, had we thought in advance, we would have ordered a bottle.

The 3 course set menu was really good value and so was the a la carte. The venue also has a really nice atmosphere. We will definitely be back......!!!

“First visit - I liked this place in Talbot Street”
Reviewed February 3, 2013

When we arrived it was quite busy and very noisy. Service was slow at the beginning but then fine. It's a pub atmosphere but the food was better than pub grub. We were on a coupon deal but were treated like a full fare guest. Menu was extensive and catered for all tastes. House wines a little on the pricey side (~€25). So, no complaints. How to get even better? Maybe a bit more friendly with the service - it was a bit robotic, but efficient. OH! and the toilets were clean!!
