Nice comfortable bar with a simple but tasty menu. We both opted for deals, fish, chips and a pint for €15 and steak sandwich with a pint for the same price.
The fish is advertised as ling and arrived deep fired on a bed of mashed peas with tarter sauce and home made chips. The flavour of the fish was very delicate and was nearly overpowered by the Belfast Blonde beer batter, the texture was firm but not over done, overall a very enjoyable dish. The steak sandwich was well seasoned and came with onions and some home made pepper sauce and chips. We cleared out plates!
We could chose from a pint of Heineken, Belfast Blonde and Guinness to go with our food and we definitely felt with was good value for money.
Service was attentive through out, the staff seem interested in the food and beer they are serving which is refreshing.
Will definitely be back.
