We stayed here visiting family that lives right around the block. Convenient location to see them and get into the city.

Hosts were incredbily nice and friendly, even setting us up for a return stay during a very busy time for them with the horseshow going on.

Our room was nicely decorated and had a private bath and TV. Backyard views of their garden were very nice and with the windows open the breeze was very nice!

Breakfast was great - traditional irish breakfast, I miss their sausages!

Would definitely stay again on next visit and recommended to family and friends already!

We had never been in a B&B, so, we didn't know really what we were going to find. After our experience in Adare, we will probably repeat. The house is really nice, in a very, very quiet environment. Our rooms were really comfortable. All of them equiped with TV. We occupied three of the rooms and we are very satisfied with them.
Breakfast is also really plentiful. Excelent for us, too.
And, of course, Patrick. He was really careful with us.
The house is well communicated with the centre of Dublin by several bus lines. But, if the day enables it and it's not raining, one may go walking. You will be in the centre in 25 minutes.
We were three days in Dublin and we really enjoyed our travel. Adare House was one of the reasons.

We immediately fell in love with this great place with a lot of character but at the same time very well maintained and polished. We enjoyed the big room, the nice dining room and the possibility to use the very cosy living room. Excellent full breakfast and very charming hosts, going to great length to advise us on many different topics.

Lovely B&B, felt like a real home. The room was good enough, tidy, clean and well-heated. The beds are comfortable.
Patrik was very helpful and was able to help us out in terms of directions, recommended tourist stops as well as answer all our questions.
We felt we got an excellent value for our money and we highly recommended it.

Having read the reviews on Tripadvisor - and seen the pictures of the rooms - I had perhaps too high expectations. I have to admit that I was disappointed when we got our room. It was immensely small, just room for two beds and a small bed table, not even space for a waste paper basket, and even less a chair. There was on the other hand a wall to wall cupboard - good for storage, but on a holiday you don't need to store that many things whilst it would have been nice to have somewhere to sit, besides the bed. The window faces another building, thus no view. This room is not in any of the pictures on the home page for the b&b - I was under the impression that we would get a room that was shown under the headline rooms on their site.
When I asked Patrick, one of the owners, if all rooms where this small, he answered that we were given this because I had asked for a quiet room, away from noise from common rooms or stair case. So a nice intention but I was disappointed, not least since I had chosen this b&b since the reviews indicated it as quiet - never mentioning that this might not include the rooms displayed on the web. Patrick, in all fairness, offered us to change the room, but my daughter didn't want to pack her things together, so we stayed in the small room.
The toilet needed cajoling to flush, but was clean.
Breakfast was ok.
We did get a map and advice on nice places to eat in the vicinity, much appreciated.
The b&b is some ways away from the city center - a bus ride or brisk walk.
I feel that the rave reviews on Tripadvisors built my expecations and that our b&b experience didn't live up to this.

Room Tip: Be aware that not all rooms are shown on the b&b site, and that our room was very small, and wit...

Arrived in Dublin after a long journey to be welcomed by Patrick; a true gentleman. My heavy case
carried seemingly without effort up the stairs to my room. The quiet, lovely room was just right to rest
up and recharge before going into town. Adare House is located in Dublin 4/ Ballsbridge close to
town...about a 30 minute easy walk. As well, other venues are close at hand. Breakfasts were bountiful
with a lovely selection from which to chose. Tea/ Coffee was available in the early hours of the morning
while the house was still quiet. The welcome back after travelling in the country for several weeks was
lovely. Adare House provides all the comforts / hospitality and travel information any visitor would require.

Adare is a large and beautiful house run by Patrick and Catherine. The rooms were spacious, our group of 6 spread throughout the house. I would recommend the room at the rear of the upstairs landing, very secluded with modern facilities. A quiet street in a quiet neighbourhood with easy access into Dublin. Our two night stay was relaxing and well accommodated. Breakfast options were excellent and plenty of it. This was a great location to finish our trip of Ireland. I would recommend this excellent B&B to all, you will not be disappointed.
