The rooms where clean and pretty big. The downside was quite squecy bed and there where no lockable lockers in the rooms, The location cant get any better, 5-10 min walking to basicly everything. Pretty basic breakfast but its enough.

I had to stay here because I was an accompanying adult on a schooltrip (the closest choice in the category of trip is business trip...).
Good location, good staff, clean rooms...That's why it does not deserve the worst mark. But what spoils everything is the terrible noise (the kids of my group were not responsible for it at all!). I had to say I was in room 6, probably the worst concerning the noise, just next to the kitchen and the staircase. Nobody seemed to respect the rules (no noise allowed after 11 pm) : people talking, phoning, laughing, creaking stairs, creaking beds, door between the corridor and the staircase kept wide open, and of course absolutely no sound insulation . And it was not a summer Saturday night but Wednesday night in April...One of my worst nights ever!

This hostel was really easy to locate to and get to and from the airport. Great location, since we were able to walk to all of the top tourist attractions. The people at reception are nice and helpful, and try to answer all your questions you have about getting around the city. I stayed in a 10 person room with my friend for two nights, and the rooms were very clean and roomy with comfy beds. The downside was that there was only one bathroom and shower (which was also amazingly clean and nice) between the 10 of us. We were happy about the free breakfast and kitchen area they offered. They also had free wine and cheese, and dinner night while we were there! I would say this is definitely one of the best hostels I've been to so far, and would love to stay here again if I'm staying in Dublin!

My friend and I stayed here for two nights in a 10 bed dorm, and I have nothing but good things to say about this place! The staff were friendly, approachable, and very knowledgeable, and also helpful in recommending where to go and what to do. The rooms were very clean and tidy and the bathroom was very modern. I was most impressed by the kitchen facilities, a very large room with plenty of seats and table spaces, with free breakfast and a different perk every night of the week. The location is very convenient for the Temple Bar area, and also Grafton Street and O'Connell Street, with really good transport to the airport.

I organised a trip with Times Hostels for 150 of us, 40 of whom were placed in College Street.
Our booking was handled with superbly and the staff were all really friend,y.
The rooms were clean and modern with plenty of space for all of our stuff (not sure there were lockers in the room but as we were a room of 10 I didn't mind)
Only negative is that the kitchen is too small for the hostel which meant that I had to stand to eat breakfast on one of the mornings!
Overall though, excellent value for money and in a perfect location.

As with other reviews, yes this hostel is average, but what do you expect when you're staying in a hostel??
The rooms were clean - "we did the dust test", the staff were friendly, and the facilities were great.
Loving the communal kitchen - the last hostel I stayed in in Dublin you were confined to the facilities of your room, here you were able to escape and relax in the kitchen/lounge area.
The only real downside is, they could have done with an extra mirror in the room, perhaps behind the wardrobe - 5 girls getting ready, with 1 mirror in the bathroom when someone is showering isn't ideal!!

We stayed in a double ensuite and it was a little on the pricey side for what we got. Typical hostel set up with the occasional noisy guests roaming the halls. The best thing about this hostel is the location. We were able to walk to most attractions and Temple Bar is right around the corner.
