I just came home from an 8 day vacation in Ireland where I spend the last 3 days in Dublin over the St. Patrick's Day festivities. The Times hostel was first rate in location. Once I figured out where the hostel was from Buts stop as Dublin is not so good with street signs it was super easy to locate (right next to Westin Hotel). The staff was super nice and helpful, and the room as comfortable. After staying in some not so nice paces earlier in week I have to say that the shower I had (I was in ensuite room) was very nice with pressure, space, and hot water). also a great plus for this place is that had activities almost daily set up, a nice common room and even had some hot food on a few of the days in addition to regular continental breakfast. (That might have been because of St. Pat’s day) The wifi internet works great all over the hostel, Anyway, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend.

This hostel is great for a comfortable sleep at a great price. It's clean and in a good location. All the staff were extremely helpful. We stayed in one of the private rooms and I wish there had been mirror.

Room:
Even though I was a single they placed me in a room with bunk beds - little odd but no big deal. They were clean and comfy. The bathroom was spotless with a shower that worked and actually had room and a door! Internet did not work at all in the room but was fine in the lounge.

Location:
Just as described. Literally across the street from Trinity college and within walking distance of tons of major sites. I even walked back to the hostel from the Guinness Factory (took maybe 30 mins at a leisurely place). Lots of pubs, cafes and stuff to see very close by.

Hostel:
Free breakfast and common lounge was great. Didn't really meet any other travelers but that's probably b/c there was a large group of young (maybe high school aged?) staying at the same time. On both arrival and departure days they locked up my suitcase for free and have someone at the desk 24 hours a day - very nice. I think I paid around 30 euros a night for my stay which is a little pricey for a hostel but considering I had a private ensuite at that location I considered it a GREAT deal. Strongly recommend this hostel.
