The relaxed and intimate setting of Carlo's Restaurant, coupled with its high-quality, reasonably priced food and friendly, attentive staff has made this restaurant a huge favorite with Dublin diners. Not only is it a popular choice with visitors to Dublin City, it's also found a place in the hearts of the discerning locals, who return time and again to soak up the Carlo's atmosphere and enjoy some genuinely delicious food.

This is a little hidden gem, on O'Connell St. This was my third time visiting the restaurant. I have to admit when I first went I was a bit skeptical. On arrival it is not the most inviting place, the decor is plain and drab but the food was fantastic. I have been for lunch with the girls and dinner with my husband and steak on a stone with a friend.
All this place needs is a makeover. I highly recommend it.

Great staff and amazing food. Had calamari as an entry and it was fantastic! After that we took fish and chips and they were one of the best we had in Dublin! Would definitely recommend this restaurant!

The waiters were friendly and attentive and the food was wonderful. There was enough choice and the fact that it was full at 5 on a Wednesday evening was a good sign! Try the steak on a rock!

This tiny little restaurant is hidden in plain sight right on O Connell Street. We stopped here after wandering around city center for a while and we were delightfully surprised. The restaurant is a tiny place, with very few tables, so we were lucky to get a table all together. We were seated right against the bar, which wasn't the best place as the servers were always bumping in to us. The food was amazing. We all ordered different items and no one had a complaint. Definitely a hidden spot worth finding!
