“Irish Ferries”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 13, 2012

I have used Irish Ferries on several occasions. The ships were always clean and the crew fantastic. The Ulysses is an amazing ship, more like a floating hotel than a car ferry. The food is very good and there is so much space that you can always find somewhere to sit and relax and enjoy the trip.

“Isle of Inishmore Club Class”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 10, 2012

Really? ...Don"t bother.

You"ll schlep up the stairs to the top deck to get there.
The nearest toilets are horrible.
The wine is undrinkable.
The blankets are horrible and stale-smelling.
The food is truly awful. Stale, dry, unappetising cakes and blinis. Instant heartburn. Nasty smoked salmon.Yeuch! I bought two curried kebab offerings which came with a comedy tomato/cucumber side-salad: a waste of €14.50
The coffee is foul from either machine.
And worst of all? The fizzy drink machine makes a noise as if it's about to explode: absolute torture when you're halfway through a 14hr road trip and need a few hour's kip!

I have no problem with the Irish Ferries service, but my advice is to avoid the Club Class service on this ship.

“Ulysses - Perfect”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 7, 2012

First time ever on the Ulysses and we shall be back. This ship is very well appointed and comfortable with a very pleasant crew. The toilets were spotless. The food was good and the value was perfect. Nowadays it can be hard to get a nice cup of tea out, but on the ‘U’ this did not apply because the tea was of such excellent quality. Looking forward to travelling to France with them next year.

“Great Deal, Great Service”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 25, 2012

To travel to Ireland with our dog, we had only the possibility to take a Ferry. From the Terminal to the cabin, the staff has been really helpful. My boyfriend was on crutches, they helped with the luggages, they helped him etc. The staff is really helpfull if you need infos or special requests. restaurants and bar are nice and there is a great atmosphere in the boat. It is a nice way to go to Ireland if you have the time (18h) and all teh crew are 200% guest oriented. When we left, someone took my boyfriend in a wheel chair, another one carried the luggages cause we had to walk a lot til the Terminal. Good experience. And if you d like an efficient taxi, contact the desk of teh Terminal and ask for Jimmy. Amazing and friendly taxi that took us from Rosslare to Cork.
