“Highly recommend -- really great breakfast or lunch”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 17, 2009

Really enjoyed this place. Ate there for breakfast and/or lunch every day I was in Dublin. There are actually two locations very close to eachother which surprised me. I would avoid the cupcakes though -- they are VERY heavy and not at all what I anticipated. Everything else was really good though. Pricey place.

“Pastries to satisfy!”

Great pastries and a good place to have breakfast. Small and limited seating so get there early! Very close to Dublin Castle and Christ Church so a sightseeing plan including breakfast here would be a great way to start your day.

excellent in every respect. Fresh, delicious, quality food served in a charming little restaurant. I even brought scones home for my family in the states - yes - they were that good!

“Good but you pay for the name”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 27, 2009

When I was in Dublin last June, I had the occassion to try something from the Queen of Tarts. I read about it in my guides of Dublin as well so I just had to go in and try something. I had a nice piece of tart (salt, as I needed something for lunch), it was good, very tasty. But the price was there as well. Maybe because it was the Queen of Tarts...? I don't regret I went there, but I went there just once. It was pretty small inside and I had a take away to eat it quietly outside in the sun!
