“History, stories, and an entertaining tour guide (Sinead)-and free!”
Reviewed February 23, 2013

We did the free walking tour of Dublin on a cold, rainy day in December and - despite this - thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our guide, Sinead, shared great stories and I learned more about the history of Ireland on this tour than on any other activity in which we participated while in Ireland. She is incredibly knowledgeable and the tour is a great intro to the city. Sinead hung out after for some food and a beer, gave us great tips for the rest of the tour (including suggesting we drive through her country - Wicklow on our way down south), and answered our questions.

The tour guides ask for tips at the end of the tour; tips are the only way they receive compensation for their time. They let you know this at the beginning of the tour, and quite admirable, don't bring it up again throughout. Their stellar tour speaks for itself and the guide was quite gracious at the end in accepting the tips that were offered without pressuring unnecessarily.

“Excellent!! Tour with Rob.”
Reviewed February 22, 2013

When my friend told me she booked a free walking tour I was a little skeptical .... But this tour ending up being one of my favorite things about our trip to Dublin. We went all around downtown and our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. I would recommend this tour to anyone traveling to Dublin.

“Free Walking Tour with Mark”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

We were in Dublin for a weekend and really wanted to try to get to see as much of the City as possible in the short time we were there. We chose to go for the free guided tour of the City and it was fantastic. Our tour guide Mark was exceptional, showing us many of the historically interesting sites and giving us a thoroughly informative and humorous 3 hours.

We were so impressed with the guide that we felt it was worthy of a generous tip! Many fellow tourists felt the same! My recommendation is not to judge it because it's free, the quality of the tour was top notch!

Thank you Mark!

“A good way to see the city.”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

Having been on free walking tours in cities as diverse as Munich and Buenos Aires, We decided to join the one in Dublin, it was a cold and wet day but our guide was excellent during our walking tour of the city. We visited all the key sites and our guide provided plenty of great information regarding the history of Dublin.
