Really amazing location, not so expensive, free wi-fi, nice staff, breakfast included...Rooms are ok, linen was clean, bathroom not so bad. You don't need better place if visiting Dublin. If you want better, go to a hotel.
One more thing in case you missed it - location! :)

We were only in Dublin for 1 night and knew we would be visiting some bars so just wanted somewhere reasonable to stay for the night. We booked a twin private room with ensuite, which turned out to be a tripple so plenty of space. The room was clean, but a little noisy as it faced the main street. The breakfast was a 'help yourself' affair and as far as I could see you could eat as much as you wanted, cereal, toast, coffee etc. Do remember this is a hostel, so although we had a private ensuite room, no towels etc. are provided.

I have just left this place and couldn't be happier. Firstly, I booked dates that got disrupted and contacted them immediately via their email. I still got charged the full rate of the first night which is absoluteły pitiful with a WEEKS notice. Then I booked the new dates and arrived. When I went into the dorm where I had put my things on the bed there was someone in there and all the beds were full. They had messed up at administration and proceeded to wake everyone up at 3am to kick the person out that they had mistakenly put there themselves. The bathrooms were filthy and full of hair in the drain, so much that it didn't drain from the shower. This place is ordinary, the only good things about it are the breakfast and the location.

This hostel is in a prime spot within the heart of temple bar. It was great for a weekend trip to Dublin as it is so close to all of the sights. I found all of the staff to be very friendly and I was surprised at how clean the hostel was... having stayed at a few aweful hostels prior to this trip. I would certainly recommend Abigails and would definitely stay there again given its price and location.

Good location, good price, and breakfast was served, which was a plus! Nice enough if you're going to be out exploring all day. People weren't too interactive while we were there, but it's a massive hostel so it's expected.

Room Tip: Top floor is the best - you get a view of the River Liffey if you're on the north side of the bu...

Nice place, in the very centre of Dublin, at a good price, without locker in dorm, but near the reception are available personal lockers for few euros, or a collective locked room. A big kitchen and a large hub. But the room wasn't the cleanest I ever found....
