Had a great time on a four night stay. The room was spacious, bed comfortable, and the breakfast selection was very good. A good centre as well for touring as well for the Donegal coast, Sligo and Derry.

I stayed here with 3 friends for 2 nights. We had an amazing stay. The rooms are clean and spacious with large bathrooms. The breakfast was delicious and fresh with cereals, fruit, yoghurts, freshly baked soda bread and lots of lovely cooked options.
It is well located just a few minutes drive outside Donegal town. But what made the stay the most memorable was the hosts Sian and Michael. They couldn't have been more friendly and helpful, including bringing us up freshly baked cupcakes to our room on return from our trip to Slieve league. I would not hesitate to return here if I'm in the area again and would highly highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay in Donegal!

Worth the 20 minutes saunter into town just for the breakfast. Not the most fanciest of places but decent size rooms. The taxi was very cheap back so don't let the distance put you off. Good value for money.

The Donegal Manor is a place to visit again and again. This small family hotel, located just few minutes drive outside the town of Donegal, sets such a high standard with lovely big well appointed rooms, great welcome from your hosts Sian and Michael and a fabulous selection for breakfast.
The food is exceptional and this is no surprise as they also offer a cookery school as part of their portfolio. We noted that some of their cookery school tasters were offered as little tempting additional bites at breakfast. Truly delightful establishment and very helpful and friendly and hosts.

Room Tip: note that there is no lift to rooms on the top floors

We stayed only one night here and found it excellent in every way. Friendly, nice big room, generous breakfast and great value. Only downside is it is too far to walk to the centre - an advantage to some being in a quiet rural position, but needs a car or taxi if you wish to dine in the town and have a drink. Otherwise 5 star.

From the minute we arrived, we received such a warm, friendly, inviting and wonderful welcome. Both Michael and Jean the owners, met us as guests and we left as friends. My husband and I and my sister and brother in law, had our first time away together and we truly loved our stay at donegal manor as our every need was met. We had delicious home made breads, jams, marmalade and dainty pastries left for us to take with tea or coffee in front of a peat and log fire or in our rooms. Our rooms were very spacious and fabulous comfort in the extra large beds and it was nothing short of pure luxury, wrapped up in the thick fluffy towels, after a relaxing bath or shower. All the staff were just so wonderful and gave us lots of helpful advice which we welcomed.

Room Tip: It's located overlooking fields at the back of the manor and its on a hilltop away from the main...
