I eat here regularly - maybe 12 times a year, though not once a month.
One of today's lunchtime specials was described to me by a waiter as pork and apple sausage with mash (mashed potatoes).
So - it was tasty; the mash was firm and good; the sausage, curled like a snake amounted to two and a half, maybe three "normal" sausages and the gravy was ok. But in spite of the verbal description, no vegetables were offered.
In the year of Our Lord, two thousand and twelve, €11.50 for three sausages, some gravy, and a few mashed potatoes with not another vegetable in sight is nothing less than scandalous. Add in the overly loud waiter, incessantly chattering behind the bar and in my opinion, standards are dropping fro what they once were.
Based on today's offering, I couldn't recommend it for lunch.

good value superb food lovely staff. I had the steak sandwich my husband had the steak which was a great choice as you can have a snack type meal or choose one of Dining room standard

Ive been here at many weddings but also stopped in for dinner on occasion, It has good food and friendly staff. Well worth a visit. Great location easy parking and spacious so the kids can run around.

I eat here frequently. The staff are very friendly, they always greet us promptly and the service is always excellent. I think the food here is among the best in Donegal. Lovely appetizers, beautiful entrees, especially the fish dishes, and some really incredible deserts. A lovely place to eat, you won't be disappointed. Always clean and a nice atmosphere.

Delightful location, delicious food from a varied menu and very friendly staff. What more could we want. We returned here for dinner three times in the week we spent in Donegal.
