“A brilliant experience that made this weekend memorable”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2013

From the moment we arrived we were struck by the quality of this hotel. The staff were welcoming and the room was marvellous. We had an upgrade to a premium suite and it was the most comfortable room we have ever had. The bed was really comfortable and the space was amazing.
The food in the restaurant was very good and the view over the Loch was beuatiful really adding to the dining experience.
We loved everything about Harvey's Point and we will definitely return again.

Room Tip: A premium suite with a loch view is worth going for it really is comfortable, spacious and so relaxi...

The rooms in this hotel are comparable with the best in the world as is the food and ambience.
Our superior lakeside room had it all - 4 poster bed 2 x large flat screeen tvs, piped music to each room (if desired) individual climatic controls to each room, a 6 seated dining area, lounge area, 2 x bathrooms, one with rain shower and heated flooring. A bar area with fully stocked bar and fridge even a bar sink. Coffee and tea making facilities along with home made cookies etc. A view that was also idyllic of the lake and a decking area come balcony that had enough room and outdoor furniture to host a major function if needed. Everywhere is immaculately clean and in pristine condition. All the little touches are there with even the delivery of fresh milk and fruit to you room in the afternoon to ensure freshness. The food in the hotel is excellent and the staff are very friendly and attentive. It came as no surprise that this gem won the award from T.A. as being the best in Ireland and I would concur and suggest that it will be for many years to come.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and we found them very considerate, obliging and friendly.

Room Tip: All rooms are upmarket, well furnished and roomy though the lakeside suites have the best view

We have just returned from another 10 night stay at our favourite hotel ( it is our home away from home). The welcome back we received from all the staff was very heartwarming. The staff in this hotel are second to none and from the food to the bedrooms, this hotel is unbeatable. We will be returning for my husbands 50th birthday in late August for 18 nights.....as there is nowhere else he would rather celebrate this occasion. If you have never been, you are missing a real gem of a hotel. We really enjoy listening to Paul on the piano in the lounge bar, and the various entertainment on a Friday/Saturday night.( Brian O'Sullivan was particularly good this year).

This is a nice enough hotel, the rooms are huge and well finished and very clean; the staff are very very friendly, the food is good, the location is ok, however, I think the cost of accomodation is over priced; on that basis I don't think I will return to this hotel

I don't think words can do this hotel justice. My wife and I have just spent two nights there and hated having to leave. The rooms are exceptional, staff are friendly and knowledgeable and the food was fantastic. And with typical early May Irish weather it was great to be able to sit in front of a roaring open fire and enjoy a leisurely Guinness

Room Tip: I doubt there is a bad room in this hotel
